PDF awards?

Even thats a good idea. How about the criteria be made at-least a senior member.

Mods are already busy with dealing the level of trolling they need to deal nowadays.

I think these awards will decrease the level of trolling.. and will make the MOD job ez.
The reason being.. Ofcourse most of the posters will go for the awards and at the same time they will restrain from replying/feeding to the trolls.

The amount of Thanks some one recieves can also make way for automatic selection for the awards. As the sensible posters will have Thanks from both sides.

P.S there should be a Reputation meter or some thing.

The only problem i see is that the thread has been started by an Indian. and its a trend here to oppose anything from that side. Hence the unrelated comments.

Sad to see people cant decide or make up their minds as to whether vote or not and instead involving in beating around the bush with childish sarcastic comments.

This is not a nomination/ popularity kind of thing. In past we have seen threads with popular member, favorite avatar etc etc and what not. The only problem i see is that the thread has been started by an Indian. and its a trend here to oppose anything from that side. Hence the unrelated comments.

Okay okay, you get the best senior Indian member award and I'm being honest. I'm not giving the nomination criteria because I plan to start a similar (but detailed and interesting)thread someday and don't want anyone to steal my ideas. I'll make sure to disclose the reason behind your nomination in that thread.

Not a bad idea.... these awards can be helpful to reduce the gutter posts as many members will take their time to write and impress others

and the Jury could be 7 peoples...3 Admins, 1 MOD, 1 Think Tank, 1 Elite and 1 Senior member and possibly 1 Last Week's Member of the week....... and since there are not many Super MODs active nowadays you can ignore them for now... or their votes will carry a weight too

Not a bad idea.... we can have 5, 7 or 9 Juries and they can decide member of the week......... and the reward could be that they will be transferred to the Member of the Week group - who will be only person with different colour and written Member of the Week underneath his title.... so after one week - he will be replaced with his next successor

Also nice thread but award should be decided by moderator itself while still taking suggestions from members.
