I think Ottoman execution of incompetence needs to come back because look at the fcks up that erdogan has done.

I agree here. Now that President brought back a sort of sultanate governance system to Turkey, he needs to accept to be removed the way people are removed from office in a Sultanate (in which executive, legislative and judiciary powers are embodied in one person): Definitely not through elections.

Every new system brings over their own institutions and political culture. In that, Turkey took a very big step backwards.

Says the guy ruled by commnunist dictatorship with blood of at least 100s of millions on its hands while running concentration camps for Uyghurs. STFU.

No wonder AKPian fan boys don’t like him.

From the debate here, I understand that there are two major/dominant groups/political camps in Turkey. One is left-leaning secularists and the other is right-leaning religionists.

Historically, it is the right-leaning parties that managed the country, yet, most of the blame goes to the left-leaning secularists.

Yet, most of the policy failures as well as great concessions to the US (from the Korean War to joining to the NATO and opening up the country to extreme liberalization and privatization, to the most recent pastor incident) took place during the religionist parties.

That's contradiction in terms.

A pair of eyes of ants, insects, birds, rats, cats, etc. would describe different world to take a picture for observation.

Luckily, Human beings use the collective inheritance in books, thanks to their intelligence and full functional frontal lobs developing generation by generation, unlike communist mentality.

Still feeling what you think you are?

Thank god he is free now.
he should stay home, we don't want christianity in the region we have islam and it works better.
Unless the missionaries of different religions work on behalf of terrorist organizations or act on behalf of foreign states, they do not cause any inconvenience to us.

However, although Christian communities are less than 1% in this country, there are 1388 registered churches in the country. Only 20% of them are in historical structure. While evangelical churches have no history in this region, it is a clear proof that many of them perform intensive activities in centers such as Istanbul, Izmir, Adana.

There was a lot of disinformation work under this title and in social media. In reality, this(Brunson) was not a matter of freedom of religion and conscience. The Church of Resurrection is still active. And Brunson's religious identity was never queried by court.

But you know how propaganda works.

And we dont want people like you in our country.
Some gay parade attending west-coast liberals whom often happen to come from (Istanbul&Izmir) that are now flocking to the west as 'expat workers' can be replaced by some more Islamists.

The Middle East doesn't need Christianity, a religion which when practices results in today's west. A social fabric of disorder that promotes LGBTQ, spawns single moms and no national identity based on culture or religion. I don't need to do anything, your country already votes for AKP, what's left are a few liberal west-coast folk and some Kurdish feminists whom are trashed on a daily basis by all their neighbours.

Then you are free to go back to your Islamic paradise in Iraq and leave those decadent homos and liberals from the Netherlands for good. Or maybe living on welfare and enjoying all the freedoms and rights their system gives you is sweeter than your home country?
