Progress in Panama case: Sharif family to submit new documents

ISLAMABAD: In a new turning point in landmark corruption case, Sharif family got new documents from Dubai’s Gulf Steel Mills which is likely to be discussed during the fourth hearing of Panama Implementation case on Thursday.
The ruling family has acquired new document to prove wrong the final JIT report submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The document will be leveraged to offset the consequences of statements of Nawaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif stated in the JIT report.
Accompanied with Hussain Nawaz, Chaudhry Muneer, renowned businessman and father-in-law of Maryam Nawaz’s daughter brought the new documents from Dubai.
The family sources claimed also Hassan Nawaz talked to Dubai officials in connection with Capital FZE company and Gulf Steel Mills.
Accordingly, Salman Akram Raja, the counsel of PM’s children delayed his arguments till Thursday to submit the same documents to the three-judge bench hearing the Panama case.
On a query by the bench, the counsel furthermore said the new documents coming from Saudi Arab and Dubai will be submitted to the apex court. –SAMAA
