We have to start somewhere as it is us who are in it! Sitting back and criticizing everything, paint the bulls eye on one thing and keep on bashing it three times a days is not a choice available to us. So yea, i do think that the sooner we get the verdict and this uncertainty is over we should start with the rebuilding process.

Fair enough, but let us please continue to discuss the reality as it evolves, not as one wishes to paint it. It takes impartiality to do that honestly. Let us see what the verdict brings in terms of its actual achievements, not the claims.

Coming from a country that claims to plan 50 years ahead? Well the problem is if i start stating these wishes as "facts". As long as these are hopes for the future and plans or discussion, i am not sure what is the problem with that. Do enlighten us on reason why we should not be doing it and just sit back and criticize or even just "discuss"!

Anything about the timeline?
What to expect the verdict???

It do not makes any sense to leave the such an important decision ready but unannounced for days. IF we are being led by a corrupt leader, we should get rd of him as soon as possible and IF the SC have decided that he is all saint, then the public should be told that too.

Why do you think the SC is delaying the announcement of the verdict?

Not my words:

"A politicised but constrained military: When a politicised security establishment cannot impose military rule directly then an unintended consequence of constitutional rule constraining a politicised and powerful military is that the latter exploits constitutional and legal means, such as accountability, to achieve its political objective of dictating state policies especially security and foreign policy. Such aggressive accountability of Nawaz Sharif and his family is perfectly legitimate but the remarkable ruthlessness of the report against the prime minister and even his family members points to underlying reasons ie military’s conflict with Nawaz Sharif over Musharraf’s treason accountability and disagreement over the India policy. Thus, perfectly legitimate civilian accountability also becomes military politics by other means."

It's fate my dear, as simple as that.

A bunch of cry babies! (Shaheen Sehbai)

Not so long ago, the Military was asked by the same government to go by the book in Dawn leaks fiasco and accept supremacy of the law.

Now that the law has them by the scruff of their neck, they are crying and blaming the military for siding with the law. Fate is not without irony.

It is very simple, if Military wanted to use the law as a weapon against this government then they would have declared dawn leaks as a matter for the military courts to handle and kicked them out long ago.

What say you and those parasites in media which are making a clown out of themselves for a still larger share of what they crave more than their own profession.

It's fate my dear, they can fight it all they want but inevitably it catches up.

Boss they need to write the verdict, consult each other, inform the CJ, many things have to happen. The JIT has 10 huge volumes of data, and finally they are under immense pressure from everyone.

I, for one, am gratified that they are doing due diligence to ensure they get it as right as they possibly can, under the circumstances.

It's fate my dear, as simple as that.

It is not fate, merely the reality that exists in Pakistan. Its admission should be matter-of-fact.

It wasn't the govt who told the Military to go by the book but the Chief had to take a step back knowing the current circumstances, he knew well what can these PMLN Stooges can do---- infact NS wanted a confrontation, it was a hard decision for the chief, but he had to take it...

NIJAAT chaiye

Jahaan Qanoon ki ahmeiyat nahi waha SC ki koi ahmiyat nahi.

I dont think they are DELAYING it :)

Good of you to say that. As I said above to Fatman17, due diligence in getting the verdict as correct as possible is a good thing.

Wow! So you admit that Nawaz the corrupt is being given more than a fair chance to prove his non existent innocence.

Or

You still think that Nawaz the innocent is Not being given a fair chance to prove his innocence.

Which is it?

Yup, however no harm in wishing that the process is completed at the earliest and we can get done with this now. No need to hold it back for extra time or extended period. I hope they wont!
