A little late in the game and still not on legal front but streets. Good pressure tactics politically but not good on the legal front. PTI should have tried to activate the monitoring judge by putting up at least a couple of petitions on different legal issues but zilch.

Peyaz ab naya Tamatar hay.
Tematar ka aaj mandi rate 60/kg tha aur peyaz ka 75...

Ayub ne aaloo mehnga kia tha lol

Wo bhi kia din they. Log fikar krte the

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Friday urged Pakistan army chief spokesman Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor to refrain from making statements on state of economy in the country.

In a press statement, Ahsan Iqbal said that such irresponsible statements can dent Pakistan’s reputation globally.

“The government is executing the largest development budget in the country’s history,” the interior minister noted, adding that resources were also being provided to law enforcement agencies for carrying out security options.

The interior minister said that Pakistan’s economy was strong and stable.

Ahsan Iqbal’s response came a couple of days after DG ISPR Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor told a news channel that if the economy was not bad, it was not doing so well either.

The remarks followed an address by army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa in Karachi.

Addressing a gathering of businessmen and military leaders at DHA Club on Wednesday, Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the army was keenly watching developments in the country’s economy.

“The economy is showing mixed indicators. Growth has picked up but the debts are sky high. Infrastructure and energy have improved considerably but the current account balance is not in our favour.”

“Our tax to GDP ratio is abysmally low and this needs to change if we are to break the begging bowl. At the same time, the common man across Pakistan needs reassurance of benevolent and equal treatment from the State in return.

If I were a statesman or an economist, I would say that this is high time for us to place economic growth and sustainability at the highest priority. Let me share with you that during National Security Council meetings, economy remains one of our highest concerns. But in order to secure our future, we must be ready to take difficult decisions. We have to increase our tax base, bring in fiscal discipline and ensure continuity of economic policies.” – SAMAA

Another attempt to create an argument and volatile situation .

PATHETIC.

December 2016

according to ministry of finance it's 13 billion increase from June 2013 to June 2016. It's a one month difference. Both could be right.

But it is important to note that approx. 40% borrowing wasn't spent on any development project, rather, it's spent on returning the previous loans. Also, the rest was also not spent on any revenue earning/ development project but on increasing the foreign currency reserves (although it is not mentioned anywhere, but we can safely assume due to significant import/ import balance, reduced remittances etc).

Also, some of the fresh loans have a grace period. So the impact of these loans will be visible after a couple of years when grace period will end.

Abhi tou hum ne kuchh nahi dekha. Aglay saal end tak, jab saaray loans ka grace period khatam hojaega tab maza aayega.. dama dam mast.... Hoga.

Next government jo bhi ayegi, situation control nahi karpaegi. Aur shayad public aur international pressure ki wajah se collapse kar jaey.

Yeh cases tou buhat peechay reh gaey estaishment ke liey. Abhi tou Pakistan ki survival ka masla Hai.

I hate general kiyani too much.

Chaey ki patti ki jagah agar makhion ki chaey banai jaey tou tou masla hai ya tab bhi nahi.

1 crore se upar ki corruption walay ko dekhte hi thok do.

Diwaaliya nikalne do ek dafa emergency naafiz hojae...

Bohat balwe kay cases banege yaha

By targetting Maj. Gen Asif Ghafoor, PMLn wants to create the same situation as was after the DG - ISPR tweet earlier this year.
.....and then create a crisis for COAS by asking him to fire DG - ISPR.

However, I am not sure if the current PM has the balls to ask COAS for it.

1 crore se upar ki corruption walay ko dekhte hi thok do.

Thoko ge tou paisa Kahan se wapis aayega? Yeh tou dilemma Hai abhi.

Abhi bhagtay chor ki langoti sahi... Wali misaal Sadiq aarahi Hai.
