How will FIA, FBR, SECP investigate a Prime Minister's corruption when the reason for taking the case to Supreme Court was that these departments had failed to do so in the first place?

Knowing Pakistani culture fully well, didn't Supreme Court realize that officers involved in this investigation will be pressurized, black mailed by ruling Sharif family mafia? How will you investigate Nawaz Sharif when he is a sitting PM?

This is going the same way as Dawn Leaks scandal.

In Pakistani culture, there is deference to a senior rank and junior rank is some time treated in a derogatory manner. Supreme Court must be fully aware of our cultural shortcomings.

Crux of the matter we need to get rid of these political mafias and military intervention is not a solution. Military intervention have actually made these mafias stronger.

if By 'Inshallah all will be fine' you mean Sharif will be let go, corruption will rule supreme, the culture in Pakistan in which powerful be it gatekeeper or president pretend to be god, then yes, I have a lot of hope for the country's future.

By saying 'inshallah', we leave it to Him knowing fully well, if we dont strive to change, our Creator's insha will not work in our favor. We have to take first steps to change then inshallah things will change.

I do wish that what you said above in red is 100% true - I have had a chance to visit a lot of rural and even smaller urban constituencies unfortunately I did not experience awareness or desire for change - most of them have resigned to fact that its this how it will be always and have lowered their expectations for just paani, bijli, and Aik waqt ki roti - I earnestly wish and pray that what I observed is not reality and does not reflect in next election results!

No question about turning to Allah for seeking help. If it would be possible for you to spare time - I would earnestly wish to accompany you to a visit areas which I have referred above and then have discussion afterwards.

Education and provision of basic neccisities like feeding their children is first priority if you do not have these one cannot comprehend his rights - it's a choice between being alive or fight for prosperity and development.

If I were in the situation of those that I see for ADP programs in remote villages - I would undoubtedly do what they are doing as first of all I would not be aware of my potential and secondly human psyche is to survive first then flourish.

Please visit areas where roads are not made deliberately by feudal lords to keep people away from education and knowledge and keep them in fire fighting state 24/7/365 - fireproofing is not in the interests of these fuedals.

Anyway - above are realities and it's been there for decades but I hope, wish and pray and do whatever I can to bring positive change in Pak.

Just to update, the Lahore high court bar council was have announced country wide protests against Prime Minister and say that he have to resign.

Also just in is that a minister for inter-province coordination have resigned accusing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Principal Secretary of corruption!!

It looks serious this time. Many other bars have supported the demand of resignation as well. Lets see what happens. You never know.

Their 7 day deadline is ending today at 12:00am - their Secretary has vowed to take these protests nationwide along with other bars in the country and next steps announcement is May 13th - as per Sec other bars want to mobilize their members for such a movement.

Asma Jehangir ridiculed LHCBA earlier - and basically stated "this case of PM is a non issue" - so let's see which side of lawyers can build the momentum - one is in face saving mode, while other is on face exposing mode!
