Palestinians agree to cease fire proposal, Israel mum

we dont talk we act we regained our land back we have a strong army we survived the brotherhood terror and soon our economy will be better look where is saddam and iraq now

There's no 'brotherhood' terror. And I don't have a problem with current Egyptian administration as long as it supports democracy, releases political prisoners and supports the Palestinian cause. But, let's not get off topic.

agreed my wishes for peace in palstine and for this to be the last war on gaza

Of course I was right, what a clever way to reject the long term agreement. Just claim no such thing happened. Will Western media report this?

these ceasefires and agreement solve nothing . there is only one solution to these 4500 years old fight of Hajer and Sara over Abraham legacy . and that is a country were every one have equal rights and duty , a country with no first grade or second grade citizen.

that being said , the ones who migrated in the past 40yrs have no right to decide for the future of palestine .

original palestinian jews however , are a different story .

RAMALLAH West Bank (Reuters) - Israeli restrictions have left two of the world's most prominent human rights organizations struggling to collect evidence of potential war crimes in Gaza, representatives of the groups told Reuters.

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch staff have not received permits to enter Gaza despite lobbying Israel and Egypt since the early days of the conflict, which began last month.

They say the years-long Israeli ban on their international staff traveling to Gaza hinders their ability to investigate the violence, but Israel says neither group has the correct paper work needed to gain access to the Palestinian enclave.

Egypt's foreign ministry did not immediately comment why its own border with Gaza was apparently closed to the organizations.

The groups' inability to put international researchers and munitions experts into Gaza comes as Israel denies violations in its conduct of the war and is resisting a U.N. investigation into the conflict, dismissing it as a "kangaroo court".

"We're doing everything we can, both Human Rights Watch and us, to do all the documentation we can, both on the ground in Gaza and remotely. But not being able to have researchers there does create difficulties," said Amnesty worker Deborah Hyams, who said the group had just one local staffer on the ground.

Bill Van Esveld, an HRW Middle East researcher, told Reuters his group had two staff members in Gaza. "They're overwhelmed. There's so much to look into ... and physical evidence about the events there is disappearing as time goes by."

Six weeks of on-off fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza has killed around 2,016 Palestinians - mostly civilians - as well as 64 Israeli soldiers and three civilians.

The U.N.'s top human rights official last month said Israel appeared to be deliberately violating international law in a military offensive that hit homes, schools, hospitals, and U.N. shelters for Gazans fleeing the fighting. [ID:nL6N0Q66VM]

Israel denies the allegations, pointing to warnings it sent to civilians to flee certain areas and countering that militants aimed rockets at Israeli civilians and operated from residential areas - something the U.N. says also may constitute a war crime.

Israel is doing all it can to hide away it's crimes, but the truth will come out in the end

In order for israel to understand that it cant simply attack Gaza and get away with it pressure must be pushed onto jews across the world, israel's supporters, its products, all of it..

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to resume airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Renewed Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza city and Beit Lahiya in the Gaza Strip Tuesday evening ahead of the expiration of a hard-won truce at 2100 GMT.

The strikes were ordered by Netanyahu in response to alleged rocket fire from the impoverished region.

The Israeli military claims that three rockets have landed on open ground in Beersheva area, without causing casualties.

Palestinian resistance fighters have not yet made any comments.

Meanwhile, Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are engaged in indirect truce talks in Cairo.

The Palestinian side says Israel is bringing up new demands that would undermine the discussions. The Eygpt-brokered talks started last week, following a month-long Israeli war on Gaza.

At least 2,016 Palestinians, including 541 children, 250 women and 95 elderly men, have lost their lives so far and as many as 10,196 others have suffered injuries in the Israeli attacks.

UN Mideast envoy, Robert Serry, told the UN Security Council on Monday that the Gaza Strip has suffered an “unprecedented amount of destruction” as a result of Israel’s offensive against the coastal enclave, calling for an end to the Israeli siege of Gaza.

A panel appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council is expected to start investigating the crimes committed by Israel in its war on Gaza.

Experts and analysts believe that the international community should pursue the prosecution of Israel and all governments that have given the Zionist regime a hand in committing crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.

I thought Hamas was winning? why would they want a ceasefire ;)
so let's say they do get a ceasefire/truce that sticks, then what?
it's obvious Hamas will make or import more rockets
they'll rebuild or build more tunnels
I say Israel should bomb the hell of Hamas terror network and drags them out of Gaza dead or alive.

They claimed one rocket hit Beer Sheva. The picture they released just shows a perfectly normal wheat field. Now they used that as an excuse to pull delegation from Cairo.

Hamas denied that. 2 children are now injured in Israeli strikes.

Simple Google search tells that its Hamas who rejects long term Egyptian truce proposal:

Simple google search shows Palestinian delegation accepted Egyptian truce. Israel rejected it.

how about if Palenstine decides it want's peace and recognizes Israel right to exist.
the U.S diverts 50% of aid from Israel $1.5billon to Gaza
would Hamas accept?

The Palestinians aren't the obstacle. Try to get Israel to end its occupation. But, you're powerless to do so. :)

the occupation would probably end if Palestine want's a lasting peace.
I don't agree with Israel building settlements on Palestine land.
and they should be evicted.
