PakWheels.com – Pakistan’s #1 Auto Portal – raises US$3.5 Million to fuel further growth

The target audience matters too, for defence.pk it's no-brainer that the target audience are indians. Have a look around there are more threads on india than Pakistan and there are like gazillion threads on indian so-called mmrca. Even the threads related to Pakistan are posted from indian perspective and sources. If you don't want the dwindling number of Pakistanis to fall any further on your forum then you better act fast and come up with a creative solution(like enforcing a limit on india related threads posted per day), which at least will be more accommodating to the views and beliefs of Pakistani's.
There are separate sections for India and Pakistan related threads. What difference does the number of India related threads make?

We have got almost all major types of brands cars available here, so kindly DONT act like you know Pakistan more than its inhabitants just because you accessed a certain link. FYI the REAL world doesn't revolves around cyber links, only the cyber world does.

So Pakwheels.com which happens to be a leading Pakistani Car portal lies and a guy who fails to understand my surprise on how automobile industry failed to exploit this huge market comes here and finds my post offensive.

Going by this logic of yours if i don't have a profile on Facebook or Twitter then i don't exist....ROFL. As for the 'automobile market' part do you want me to re-quote your previous post........because unless that comment was in "martian" it clearly didn't depict what you are stating now. Anyways i didn't take any offense in that, i guess all i am trying to say is that ''Don't view the world through the eyes of media". And lastly can you kindly provide the link where it says that" in Pakistan only eight brands of cars exist".

I took it up from Pakwheels.com. They had show around 16 brands which includes Audi to Toyota but i can find only 8 brands which actually sell cars other 8 either sell a van or a pick up truck.

8 brands which I noticed are Audi, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Land Rover, Mercedes, Toyota, Suzuki.

I don't find Ford, Chevrolet, VW, Citreon, Mazda, Subaru in Pakistan automobile industry and I might be totally wrong!

My father had Mazda back in the 80s and Subaru in the 90's..........And are you sure you didn't see Daihatsu and Nissan there? Because Pakwheels is even displaying their logos. As for other popular ones you can google Chevrolet Pakistan, Mitsubishi Pakistan...OH Yeah! dont forget Porsche Pakistan. So the moral of the story: Don't rely on Media. :)

Moral of the storey: Pakwheels.com is a crap and it doesn't deserve 3.5 Million USD.

They didn't mention Nissan, Chevy in New cars category. Mitsubishi sells a van.
Daihatsu-> i missed it.

These days VCs are throwing money like tissue papers. You just need to have a little traction which not only PakWheels has but also earns money. Secondly, emerging economies are gaining much traction lately. Rocket Ventures has been recently investing in Pakistan as well in many e-ventures. Later when giants like Ebay, Amazon, or many others expand into big and growing markets like Pakistan, there is very much chance that they buy existing players.
