Pakistan's War in Waziristan/Northwestern Pakistan [Photo Album]

Tribal leaders from North Waziristan meet with Pakistan Army officials in Miramshah to finalize on a peace deal between the Pakistani Taliban and the Pakistan government. The ceasefire deal would stop the fighting, allow residents to return, and would cease cross-border attacks into Afghanistan. The peace deal ended in a disaster as raids increased. The peace deal broke apart after less than a year (2007).
