9) Germany 3rd richest nation of earth engineering [powerhouse)
10) France ditto uk spends $60billion a year versis $6 billion for pakistan)
Pakistan would make top 6 in the arab world just about with
Turkey
Eygpt
Saudi Arabia
Iran
Indonesia
Pakistan
Syria
Libya
Don,t talk about nukes even tin pot regimes like north korea have nukes its no biggy.
WHAT HAS ALWAYS COUNTED ANSD WILL ALWAYS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IS YOUR INDUSTRIAL POWER, FINANCIAL POWER, EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLGY AND YOUR LEADERSHIP
The western world and Japan are way ahead of ASIANS AND ARABS
The likes of Germany France jAPAN & uk would take out India and pakistan combined never mind just pakistan.
Russian and Indian economy is also very poor with respect to much of the other countries, this ranking is about MILITARY not ECONOMY, they are two distinctly different things, if you cannot differentiate between the two then you do not belong on a defence forum, if you wish to counter this ranking do it on basis of facts not BOLD FONTS !
The fact remains that Pakistan/India/USA are some of the most frequently engaging Armed forces in the world, hence they take all the points in experience, secondly, they have manpower way larger than any European Armed force, another plus for them, thirdly, they have greater weapons by number, finally they have proven themselves worthy of their ranking, India deserves it's spot because it beat us in 71 and in the Kargil episode, under whatever circumstances that is a completely different discussion, point is they did and we deserve ours because we have kept a military 5 times our size at bay in 3 wars and countless periods of tensions. Another edge we have over the European powers is that we are the only country that by far can claim victory over the Taliban, we have not only made them abandon their areas of control but their command and control structure has been devastated and their attacks left less effective than ever before.
