PAKISTAN’S NIC RECOVERED FROM AFGHAN COLONEL’S HOME IN SPIN BOLDAK

Most if not all of the NADRA officials are quota army hiring. Only if we had actual competent civilians in place.

Uninformed comment, the desk clerk sitting in a NADRA office at the Pak-Afghan border isn’t an Ex-army official, nobody in an average NADRA office is, only the higher ups in rather strategic positions. That too has only gone up recently due to such events, including that recent scandal of millions of Fake CNICs. Some people will find every opportunity to blame the army somehow.

Pakistani people are funny, when these jobs are given to army officials they cry that civilians should hold them, when civilians in NADRA sell out the country they cry about “intelligence and security failure.”
It has nothing to do with Ex-Army or civilian, it has to do with the Pakistani and human mentality of selling out their country for money, no matter what their background is, Both background can be loyal or corrupt equally, but the army has proven itself better more times than their political and government counterparts, despite the bad apples. That doesn’t excuse the fact that we have to be in such a position, nor is giving these jobs to army officials an ideal solution, but that’s the state of the country and the people at the moment.

I hope we learn from Chinese and do the needful for such people. In Pakistan where a lot of people live below poverty line, such corrupt people are directly responsible for the miserable condition of poor Pakistanis. The corruption should be considered a crime equal to armed robbery/decoiti.

As far as I have learnt, the political mindset and foreign policy is divided in groups given the decades old manipulation, interference and foreign investment. Currently, we are fighting the policy shift to independent and Pakistan interest first whereby, decades old foreign influenced and sponsored families aren't ready nor let it happening easily. Apparently, this is one the reasons as why Pakistan is targeted from every front so viciously. If any Pakistani try give it a thought, will understand that how sudden blames, political turmoil and foul mouthing by politicos started. We aren't paying attention to things the way it should be. For example Maryam Safdar went on a rampage against IK, fine with it, but that is coming on the cost of Pakistan sovereignty. She blamed state directly for abduction of daughter of Afghan Diplomat without even considering the facts and reality. Unfortunately, the nation itself isn't rising up against these idiots.

So you are trying to say in last 70 years politicians didn't persue any foreign policy based on pakistan national interest ?care to explain ? Like Maryam safdar blaming IK indirectly to state and IK blaming chinese loan and Qatar corruption when in opposition ..or blaming any government is anti state ?other then this where is foreign policy by political leader or party ?

The rot always starts from the top. If the top management is incompetent, you cannot expect the lower management to be any better. Lest i remind you that NADRA has been one of the most advanced institutes in the country and even it was not left alone and polluted by appeasing quota hirings. Wont be surprised if its turned to another SUPARCO.

You are right about the sell-out culture in Pakistan but it extends to both civilians and army. My main crux is why are inter pass knuckle headed retired army officers who only know to say yes sir being made heads of civilian institutes?

.
i guess most Afghans carry a pakistani NIC because no other country allow them roam around that free like they do in pakistan and this is one reason they take pakistan easy... curtsy to our corrupt civil administration...... even under current govt situation is same

Is it the corrupt civil admin standing on the borders? Or no one’s manning them anymore?

Would you rather civilians who likely aren’t even inter-pass and have little to no work experience in professional environments and an even higher chance of selling out the country be put in these positions instead? Because that’s the reality of the alternatives, you really are fishing for every chance to complain about a problem, it’s just the wrong problem you’re grabbing for. NADRA has not been incompetent so far, but every institute where the civilians or government is in charge definitely has been, healthcare, education, police force are the biggest few that come to mind. Even WAPDA was handed over to the army when they needed to root out Corruption from it.

There’s a flip side to every coin too, NADRA, despite its faults, has been one of the best functioning and most professional government services in the history of Pakistan. I bet you Wouldn’t want to put that on the “inter-pass knuckle headed retired army officers who only to to say yes sir”
FYI. The PMA counts as a credited educational institute and every army officer has a BMAS + several other degrees if they have gone further into their career. These offices are much more educated than most Pakistanis will ever be. There’s bad apples everywhere or course, but a senior retired officer generally isn’t some knuckle-head.

I’m not saying there isn’t corruption in the forces, there’s plenty, but nowhere near what’s in the rest of the country. That also doesn’t mean we shouldn’t call out the amount there is, but you’re being biased here.
It’s also in no way ideal that we have to employ retired officers in so many such tasks, but that’s not the offices fault, it’s the fact that there’s no better alternative, and that’s what you should be complaining about.

CHAMAN: A Pakistan’s National Identity Card (NIC) has been recovered from the residence of an Afghan Army’s colonel during a raid at his home in Spin Boldak, a border town of Afghanistan, ARY NEWS reported on Tuesday.
According to details, the raid was carried out by a team of Afghan Taliban at the house of Afghan Colonel Ayub Kaki, where they found a Pakistani NIC bearing the name of the colonel.

The NIC bore the address of the Pakistani border town, Chaman, and was issued in 2002 with its expiry in 2007.

Is it possible he left Pakistan in 2007 to join Afghan National Army ?

.
Generally technically illiterate officials from pakistan administrative and police service chairs nadra so ---------- apprehending a supervisor, data entry operator etc won't yeild much results

FYI.
A fish rots from the head down. These people don’t even know ABC of administration.

The ring road scam D.Commissioner is a retired captain. Plus, there is a suspicion that it may include higher rank retired officers.

On topic: FIA should grant immigration based on finger scan. It can validate the document also. There is no harm refugee mixing/opening shops if they act according to law and the source is clear. If we can't manage then do like Iran, restrict all refugees in closed/monitored villages and don't let them mix so that they can exploit our 'weak' system, and obtain fake documents then become security risk. .

Fyi , the tax payer pays a lot to fine tune young boys into warmachines so they better excel at their job but some decide to jump around coz they got bored and the same tax payer end up paying more for the subsequent training to turn a soldier into a babu . If handing over everything to the military is the solution why not do away with any and all civil training academies and directly outsource h.r from p.m.a?

Tbh i still couldn't figure out how Pakistani institutes in a matter of a year or two transforms a b.a m.a babu into a superhuman who could run a plethora of gov't departments simultaneously while the people actually possessing professional qualifications both from local and foreign universities working there with decades of field experience get sidelined to accomodate the "cream"? I suggest we should export our guys to the first world to get some surge in the dollar reserves as going by the Pakistani mentality they are clearly lacking "visionaries"

There must be a way to associate this specific number with who authorized its issue. Issuance of fake official documents must be punishable by death.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had previously also announced apprehending the network behind issuing fake NICs.
On July 08, the FIA has revealed that Afghan agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) had issued Pakistani national identity cards to the terrorists associated with outlawed TTP from the database of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
The revelation was made in a press conference conducted by the director of FIA Sindh Zone I, Amir Farooqui today, saying that computerized national identity cards (CNICs) for TTP terrorists had been made by using the NADRA database.
Amir Farooqui added that the national identity cards were also issued to Al-Qaeda terrorists from NADRA, whereas, a suspect involved in Safoora carnage, Imran Ali, who was an Indian citizen, had also gotten a CNIC from the authority.
The FIA director said that the investigation exposed the manipulation of suspects’ identifications who were involved in the armed attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi as Allah Nazar and other terrorists managed to get CNICs from NADRA.
