Depressed trajectory
Throw-weight is normally calculated using an optimal ballistic trajectory from one point on the surface of the Earth to another. An optimal trajectory maximizes the total payload (throw-weight) using the available impulse of the missile. By reducing the payload weight, different trajectories can be selected which either extends the nominal range, or decreases the total time in flight. A depressed trajectory is a non-optimal, lower and flatter trajectory which takes less time between launch and impact, but with a lower throw-weight. The primary reasons to choose a depressed trajectory are either to evade anti-ballistic missile systems by reducing the time available to shoot down the attacking vehicle (especially during the vulnerable burn-phase against space-based ABM systems), or in a nuclear first-strike scenario. An alternate, non-military, purpose for a depressed trajectory is in conjunction with the space plane concept with use of air breathing engines which requires the ballistic missile to remain sufficiently low inside the atmosphere for air-breathing engines to function.

As of this moment Pakistan has nothing to worry about:

1. India's ABM project is not even deployed yet. It is expected to get deployed around 2017 with just 2 cities Delhi and Mumbai under its gambit.

2. Even if ABM is deployed, the ABM technology is still evolving. It is yet to be able counter massed volley's.
Pakistan can simply and easily/cheaply overload the system by firing a large number of BM's.


Either ways, the ABM is a non-issue for the coming decade at least.

The advantage of ABM is that enemy shall fire more than required missile to it the target in anticipation of some of them being shoot down. So they may have to use more missiles than required resulting into depleting of the missile arsenal very fast.

Pakistan does not have very advance missiles which can panitrate indian ABM. By the time pakistan can get something better, Laser shall arrive.

Instead of working towards regional peace,India is creating conditions and trying to brace itself for a bloody war.
If India stops investing money to destabilize Pakistan,India won't need to work on ABMs to counter attacks for Pakistan.
This way,India could spend it's money on strengthening it's economy and fighting poverty.
The way India keeps on worrying for it's defense from Pakistani side is a clear indicator that it expects Pakistan's patience limit to be breached very soon in response to India's continuous poking.

Educated yourself first. Our BMD (Current capability under testing and tested 6 time successfully out of seven times) is for 2000 KM range ballistic missile We have other system like akash to take care of Babur like missile and it is meted with Aerostar like system. Our BMD when deployed shall be more than capable of taking care of your missiles.
