Pakistan’s New Missile Disrupts Nuclear Stability in South Asia

If we can test SLCMs and have had a thermonuclear/H-bomb capability since at least 2011 then ICBMS are not even an issue for Pakistan:

http://isis-online.org/isis-reports...nuclear-weapons-time-for-pakistan-to-rever/12

Truth of the matter is that Pakistan has had ICBM capability since at least 2000. There is no need to test an ICBM as the all the world's leading military analysts know we have this capability. Which is why we weren't attacked like Iraq and Afghanistan even though the American neo cons wanted to. We don't need to scare any more people or create any more enemies. The only country we need to be able to destroy, we can and they know it. That's all that is needed. The main priority now is to make Pakistan an economic powerhouse and ensure our people have the same standard of living as the Turks.
Cant agree more ...

.
Game will never end, every nation tries its best to procure deadly weapons to defend itself.
That's what we are doing.

ICBM is not current requirement but ABM
and carrier killer Missiles are need of time for us.

North Korean ICBM program is old news and progress isn't great: https://missilethreat.csis.org/missile/taepodong-2/

That information is outdated. Fact is north korea's ballistic missile/SLV and nuclear programs have been moving at a rapid pace since 2015. There used to be a time where north korea was since as a joke by the west but that slowly is being replaced by fear.

North korean advancements since 2015:

- New SLBM pukguksong-1 (1200km cold launched from canister)
- New Surface to Surface missle puksuksong-2 (1200km cold launched from land based canister)
- New 80 ton thrust rocket engine, something the west said few years ago that north korea would never be able to develop.....
- 2 Nuclear test of 10kt and 30kt warhead designs
- Mass production of around 20-30 nuclear warheads
- New Hwasong-12 medium range missile with range of 4500km
- KN-06 surface to air missile similar to S-300 of russia
- Marv development to counter ABM systems

Now what has pakistan developed since 2015?

Pakistan should learn from north koreas example that even if a country has limited resources and has heavy sanctions placed on it they can still develop provided the leadership has solid vision......

The source I shared is frequently updated with relevant information; it is not outdated.

I shared information about the ICBM program of North Korea (only) since this part was under discussion.

Overview of North Korean missile program here: https://missilethreat.csis.org/country/dprk/

North Korea is undoubtedly trying its best to advance its ICBM program and strategic options but progress is slow and the state remains impoverished at the cost.

North Korea is trying to develop an ICBM that would be capable of striking parts of US mainland since 1980s (i.e. Taepodong series Ballistic Missiles) and has approached IRBM range in testing (i.e. 3800 KM flight test in 2009). Therefore, progress is slow.

And whatever North Korea has achieved so far, it would have not been possible without support of China and Russia.

---

Pakistan is also expanding and improving its strategic assets with passage of time.

Pakistan tested an MiRV variant of Shaheen series Ballistic Missile recently called Ababeel in response to advancements in ABM program of India.

Pakistan is also developing cruise missiles namely Ra'ad and Babur series. In connection with this, Pakistan tested Babur III SCLM recently. This development has ushered into the era of second strike capability for Pakistan.

There are additional developments as well that you can find on the web.

Anyhow, Pakistan should not emulate North Korea in its matters because CPEC and other advancements would be at stake otherwise. Pakistan is experiencing significant energy shortfall at present and water crises is also expected in the near future. India is also in the picture to cause trouble and willing to capitalize on any opportunity to hurt Pakistan. Pakistan risks loosing its strategic balance with India (and more), if subjected to heavy sanctions much like North Korea. It would be a disaster for us. Not a good time to seek new enemies honestly.

It is really difficult for a state to achieve milestones in ICBM program if it is subjected to heavy sanctions. Whatever North Korea has achieved so far, it would have not been possible without support of China and Russia. You don't reinvent the wheel.

Your source IS outdated as it contains "missiles" that have been since proven to be SLV's. Here is a more up to date source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_People's_Army_Strategic_Force (Scroll down to active missiles). You can do web search for test footage from these missiles if you want to see them in action.

Pakistan's most advanced missile "Shaheen-3" has a range of 2750km while NK's most advanced missile hwasong-12 has a range of 4500km. Unless pakistan has a secret icbm in development they are being left behind by north korea....

- What is the point on putting MIRV on 2000km range missile? MIRV is normally used for ICBM not IRBM.
- It uses chinese navigation satelites, china could make it useless in war if they wanted to
- Good
- Raad-2 is an iranian system.....
- ??
- Lies. China has fastest growing nuclear stockpile with over 2000 warheads claimed by some experts.
- Shaheen-1A only has range of 900KM meaning it cannot reach eastern parts of india. Maybe it is meant for iran?
- Good
- What part of nasr was upgraded?
- Is it operational or still in testing?
- Good

I should have been more clear in my initial post. What ballistic/nuclear/space tech advancements has pakistan made since 2015? Many countries have things like short range missiles it is BM and nukes which are game changers.

what kind of idiot are you do you have any prove that any thing you are saying is true like any of it
so give me any video like from any country that have ability to this
not even china have capability to this
raad and babur are copy of us tomahawk cruise missiles
shaheen 1a can take out major city in india while you people rigged your bmd tests and your own scientist confirms it
bmd needs radar on grounds to locates any incoming missiles infrared sattelite with radars are use to locate exact position of the missile and then missile is launched and itself take several minutes to take it down and even this system dont guarantee success where india lack any kind of system
by many experts in the world not few pakistan have the fastest growing nuclear stock pile they have even india conducted its nuclear tests way before pakistan and if you compare nuclear stock pile pakistan have the fastest growing nuclear stock pile in 2020-2022 pakistan will complete it nuclear reactors which have capacity to generate more then 8000 MW and with that nuclear weapon production will increase tremendously
who says its uses chinese satellite to control it indian nuclear submarine with its slbm is russian so you need russian permission to launch it when china is in favor of pakistan and china and russia are US enemy so thats mean you people cant operate your SLBM
that satellite was made with pakistani engineers and uses pakistani navigation system and now go and read difference between navigation satellite communication satellite that satellite was made in china but operates by SUPARCO (pea brain)
keep dreaming about no an MRBM cant have MIRV capability if iNdIa CaNt Do It No OnE cAn Do It
you people said the same for SLCM same for pakistan nuclear test same for every thing you people cant agree on
Shaheen 3 have range of 2750 km enough to coverwhole india nk need more to cover US so please
ICBM needs military satelite to operate thats why india first launch its military satellite then its ICBM and in 2018 pakistan will launch its military satellite and then ICBM

so please man you are the most stupid people in the world

I am talking about ballistic missile you are talking something else. Understandable why when a country with 1/10th your gdp is outclassing you......

You asked for video here is one of pukguksong-2 launch from NK this February:

Now answer this question. Does pakistan have this technology? If so please share some video/images.....

ICBM needs military satelite to operate thats why india first launch its military satellite then its ICBM and in 2018 pakistan will launch its military satellite and then ICBM

which military satellite are you talking about ? GNSS ? It is not a prerequisite for an ICBM.

pakistan will complete it nuclear reactors which have capacity to generate more then 8000 MW and with that nuclear weapon production will increase tremendously

Those are commercial LWRs under IAEA safeguards & are not breeders to produce weapons grade Plutonium.

while you people rigged your bmd tests and your own scientist confirms it

I am not aware of such a thing.

who says its uses chinese satellite to control it indian nuclear submarine with its slbm is russian so you need russian permission

Indian SSBN is Indian made, Russian one called INS Chakra is an SSN. Totally different things.

that satellite was made with pakistani engineers and uses pakistani navigation system and now go and read difference between navigation satellite communication satellite

Again, Pakistan never have attained the capability to build operational satellites, GNSS or communication one.

bmd needs radar on grounds to locates any incoming missiles infrared sattelite with radars are use to locate exact position of the missile and then missile is launched and itself take several minutes to take it down and even this system dont guarantee success where india lack any kind of system

India has operational long range Swordfish LRTRs & are upgrading the same to a range of around 1200 km. ISRO too have such a system developed.

what kind of idiot are you do you have any prove that any thing you are saying is true like any of it
so give me any video like from any country that have ability to this

Dude seriously, learn about Russian ALCMs in our arsenal.

as I thought idiot you are
low flying cruise missile can only fly at a limited heightits only use on sea or any area which dont have mountains
terrain hugging cruise missiles are different go and check anywhere every its mentioned babur and raad are TERRAIN HUGGING cruise missile not any kind of 80's missile like india have (you people are good at changing name first you bought russian missile then changed its name as brahmos and call it your own creation but when you needed to upgrade it you people reached out russia to upgrade it even to increase its range got any news where pakistan reached iran china SA to upgrade its missile )
oh yeah if you such capability then why only testing it on SRBM with less speed why not on something like MRBM
as I said they were https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/indias-ballistic-missile-defense-trials-were-rigged.481627/
look at your own BMD blueprints they never says it going to stop the war head falling from the sky its says they will destroy the missile before it reaches the sky
yeah they are safeguarded by IAEA like all the old reactors but still we managed to make 120-130 nuclear war heads have capacity of 2 megaton vs india 1 megaton
ICBM needs military standard satellite
http://freebeacon.com/national-security/iran-launch-two-new-satellites-cover-illicit-icbm-program/
http://www.idsa.in/idsacomments/nor...-to-demonstrate-icbm-capability_avlele_180216
and for satellite man you only watch zee news or indian propaganda websites go and search aksa-e-pakistan it was introduce in 2016 by SUPARCO and waiting for 2018 to be used in remote sensing satellite pakistan already launch few satellite in 1990 it was not launch from pakistan but they were build in pakistan
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badr_(satellite) now go cry in the corner

your statement

my reply
as i said which country (except US) have prove of their terrain hugging missile like you mention IRAN
first you people decide its iranian chineese south african or of some other country while whole west says its an copy of tomahawk

pakistan posses mirv as you said mirv can only be carried by ICBM due to its high altitude and load capacity look at ababeel its have less range then shaheen 3 why due to the load and high altitude

as i already said ICBM are their need to reach US not pakistan's we will introduce ICBM when we launch our satellite

I am well aware that unha-3 is the taepodong-2. However the unha 3 does not have a reentry vehicle which is necessary for an icbm. It is because of this it is no longer classed as a missile.

Its like saying indian pslv is icbm just because it can launch satelites....
