You overlook another fact. The disparity is not just in human resources but also in material resources.
If Indian military doesn't defeat you, there is abundance of natural resources using which every single Pakistani can be purchased. India has longer coastline, bigger range of Himalayas and bigger land mass.
Ever wondered why Pakistan withdrew at the end of 1999 Kargil war? It is because Pakistan's rulers were bribed and told to withdraw.
bigger armies lost big wars in the past.it's not about the numbers.it's about how to survive.indian army may be bigger but pakistan army still stands proud.we don't have long coastline but we know how to survive.we are doing it from the last 70 years.people come here and talk about 71 and kargil.in 71,we were miles away from bangladesh so no reinforcement.in kargil,we left posts because of failed diplomacy and american superiority.in kargil, we changed the mindset of pak army soldiers once for all.now our soldiers believe that we can(small army) still attack bigger army.we did this in kargil and we were very aggressive.for me,numerical advantage doesn't matter now.look at our weapons.we both have missiles.it's not easy to fight against pakistan now.
