May be, you r right ,that y Mushy left Pakistan and settled in London. He has bought a house of 1.4 million pounds in London and drives 7 series BMW and he has got 6 MI-5 agents with him all the time. Did he take political asylum in UK? Does Pak army Generals have that much of pay or he has also taste little part of billlion dollar Aid. Well, I'll tell you few things
1) He got 100k per lecture from several tours and he is still doing it
2) As a general for almost 9 years he must have saved something from his salary as there are a lot of free benifits in Armed Forces for Soldiers
3) COAS get's 3% from all Defence Deals done during his tenure as he does not get pension instead gets this
4) He was also getting salary as a president
5)MI-5 i don't know but he acted against terrorists so maybe that's why UK government is providing him protection.
6) He is in UK because he is doing a lot of work all over the world (Giving Lectures etc) so he has to visit alot of countries and therefore staying in UK for time being.Just few days ago i think he went to some gulf country.
In any case, he is not a ordinary General but was a president as well as COAS for 9 years...not just a General.Anyway Bigots like Hamid Mir will always find something to show Musharraf in bad light like that bastard what's his name yea Abbas Ansari did regarding AWACS.

The only problem I can see is, the ‘civvies’ did not get enough continuous time to fully rape the country unlike the military dictators who ruled in the lengths of 10-11 years, 8-9 years etc. So they had more opportunity to enjoy the shameful act albeit of using the contraceptives in the form of Choudhry Brothers, and Dogar etc. That is another thing that every time Military dictators raped the country, they made it pregnant with another Military dictator who would come out after a gestation period of 8-10 years to repeat the shameful act again.

Gen Musharraf can afford it because of lecture circuits and other legal means ... his son is also in a position to help him ... One of teh UAE Kings sent his personal jet to London so that Musharraf can attend a wedding ... King Abdullah meets him even though he is not a President anymore ... Gen Musharraf has recieved many gifts post retirement and also a lot of security from the Govt. in UK.

Your problem is that you are an Indian who still feel the pain of Kargil ... grow up and look to the future ....

Many Pakistani members including the supporters of the military dictator have used the words "Mush" and "Mushy". How come it is OK for them to use any word but no OK for the Indians to use the same? At any rate, I support you, we must not use such words.
