Pakistan’s flag to be hoisted on Indian soil for Salman’s upcoming film Bharat

For the average sane person, it is not outlandish to correctly state how India (The COUNTRY) did not exist pre-1947.
Thank you captain obvious. That's what we already said, India like this did not exist before 1947, now India looks like this as you see on a map. How hard it is to understand? And that's what Austerlitz said.
Now you went all stuff like Hindu means this and that.

If Pakistan had been named India instead, which would actually make more sense
Yeah, it would make sense when it also includes South India and Bihar up until Bengal. Because that's how India is mentioned in written records. But Pakistan is what you choose to be, land for Muslims.
Besides, the name India is only a name given by the Greeks, and/or Persians. While our history is way beyond that name.
you wouldn't accept the person from our country laying claim to the entire regional history and culture, would you?
I failed to understand the point you're trying to make. What history we claim from you. lol

The facts are straight: Mughals entered the subcontinent through the land which currently constitutes Pakistan, and the IVC was centred around the Indus River which surprise surprise, flows through Pakistan.
Did anyone say otherwise? Textbooks are freely available on the internet. (At least in India, your online servers don't seem to work so can't compare). I'll take your word for it.:enjoy:
The Mughal history is taught when we were 12-year-old. If I remember correctly, that was the first detailed history of Mughals we learned while in school. It's a romanticized version, learned their dark history reading beyond those books.
Speaking of you, either you didn't read well while you're in schools or in fact, you're a taught some propaganda. But we are not,
Harappa - Link
Clearly mentions all the details. Show me where the propaganda is.

Mughals - Link and mentions they are rulers of the Indian subcontinent, not India. If you take time in reading tho.

HOWEVER, I am not laying claim to ALL OF IT, as obviously mughals ALSO ruled the land that currently constitutes India and part of the IVC was also in India. Neither do you see me laying my country's claim to your Gangadeshi empires.
And don't make self-contradictory statements that show how Ignorant you are. Take this for example what's the Gangadeshi empire? Where is it mentioned in history? Where is the source for your claim?

Listed above. And since you're on the cusp of understand some logic, let me lay it out for you: The REASON I tagged @Indus Pakistan was because I am aware that he has much more knowledge on this topic of lundians claiming their country was the cradle of civilisation. I have avoided speaking on things I have no idea on instead of vomiting propaganda like you. You are the one with "no research".
Ask why Indus Pakistan was kicked out from a reputed history forum (can't name for sure) for going crazy about this theories and mocking members, in here his inventions are names like Gangadeshi, Hindooo, Gangoo or whatever. @hellfire LOL! (And he's tolerated here)

As I said, these kinds of behavior are not tolerated outside this forum. And you can have all the advantages from the moderation team in here. So, carry on with your antics.

@Dubious haha. :enjoy:

For the average sane person, it is not outlandish to correctly state how India (The COUNTRY) did not exist pre-1947. Even your own textbooks will tell you that. BEFORE 1947, the WORD India referred to the entire subcontinent but now we say INDIAN SUBCONTINENT to differentiate between the modern state which decided to take on the name and the region which it is a part of. If Pakistan had been named India instead, which would actually make more sense than naming your country India, you wouldn't accept the person from our country laying claim to the entire regional history and culture, would you? The facts are straight: Mughals entered the subcontinent through the land which currently constitutes Pakistan, and the IVC was centred around the Indus River which surprise surprise, flows through Pakistan. Indians seem to think their nation-state was a cradle of civilisation while denying Pakistanis from making the same claim, even though we have more authority to that claim. Just because our main religion is not the same as our ancestors, doesn't mean we can't lay claim to it as goes for the Egyptians.

glad I took the time to read. It points to the assumption that most Indians I've come across haven't been educated by their own system else they wouldn't make the laughable claims that I've mentioned already. It must be said though that the text conveniently fails to mention how the Mughals entered our subcontinent through pakistan, they could just have said "north west" and merely using "Indian subcontinent" instead of "India" does not make them fully innocent of misinformation. Sadly, many people are too ignorant nowadays to understand why the subcontinent is named the "Indian subcontinent". That is, after the Indus River, not the modern republic called India.
And don't make self-contradictory statements that show how Ignorant you are. Take this for example what's the Gangadeshi empire? Where is it mentioned in history? Where is the source for your claim?

empires, referring to those outside of the reach of Pakistan's current borders or even those within our borders but based more toward the east of the subcontinent i.e near the ganga river.
Ask why Indus Pakistan was kicked out from a reputed history forum (can't name for sure) for going crazy about this theories and mocking members, in here his inventions are names like Gangadeshi, Hindooo, Gangoo or whatever. @hellfire LOL! (And he's tolerated here)

reputed history forum? was it something on Bhartipedia (i.e wikipedia)? i subscribe to using gangadeshi, as it is an excellent description of what your nation truly is.

thankfully on this forum there is little chance of an swarm of indian rats coming to overwhelm an individual who exposes their delusion. i can't say the same for indian forums.

however, despite this, i would like to apologise for insulting your religion to any extent. that was not my original intent. i was initially referring to how "hindu" was used in a derogatory manner though insulting the religion itself was uncalled for. i will not utilise any preferential treatment i MAY happen to get, though i doubt i get any.
why not use "porki" if you're so confident in your honesty? i'm sure you don't use it elsewhere.

our country was a cradle of civilization.
take this guy as an example. hopefully he's just trolling though with you lot, it's always uncertain

India makes over 2000 movies per year

That is over 5 movies per day

You are lucky if Pakistan is featured in couple of them. That too without paying any publicity charges
Is there a single film since 1947 which does not mention Pakistan in it?

Though I itch to refute your hypocritical though absolutely typical of you kind's post, I have been told not to so I will leave it here.

Friend, first of all, understand the meanings of words idol and symbols. Then think for yourself. My only reason to intervene was because of your attitude, which you can still see in the post above. You cannot demean any religion. Religion and religious beliefs are sole affair of the person and the creator. And you cannot insult and be rude in a discourse. If you have a point, a civil rebuttal is more effective than the foamy and lathery outburst.

I am an atheist, but I respect all religions and their belief systems. It is for the followers and faithful to decide what they believe in. But I do not condone anyone taking the moral high ground while belittling others without putting their own house in order. Think hard on idols and symbols and look into your house. You shall be surprised :)

If you want to have a discussion with me on religion, allow me time till January, and then I can have a discourse on yours and mine (was supposed to have one as per rules of my occupation). Same for the naming, how your facts are based on your own suppositions not corroborated by texts and available evidence.

What is my kind? A guy with degrees in three distinct fields and a veteran? I am sure that qualifies me a wee bit more than majority. And for the bold, who or what has asked that of you? ;)

You're right, I should have ignored the idiocy of your compatriot, though you should understand that your bovine propaganda will not be accepted here. Delude yourself if you must about the subcontinent's history and basic logic, but not others.

My propaganda? Head over to the relevant thread where I have summarized the Pakistani Education system's 'adjustment' under the Zia administration. You seriously need a re-look at what you consider a propaganda.

I, of course, remain open to learning. Was, indeed, waiting to be schooled by you. Disappointed. Anyways, stay well and may you improve your behavior and become a bit civilized. Life is quite good when you interact with decency and discuss.

Cheers

But it is funny to see ow many of these guys got kicked out of reputable history forums like historum and troll here. I kind of feel sorry for them because thry no their opinions are rejected by the rest of the world, so thi is the only place they can vent their frustration.

@LASER Learn to ignore and move on. Understand what has (or rather did not) happened here.

This link says it all:

And as far as the new history being written here, it is only because of the same issues, a need to identify. The assertion of Arabic preceding Indo-European languages, the Eastern sub-set of which consists of Indo-Persian, is the joke to top it all.

I have done research that India was name given by Martian Languages Xerzes dialect, my original research.:woot:

Please, henceforth, continue to push this.

@Sam. Your wise inputs? @Joe Shearer good you have taken a sabbatical. I made a mistake of thinking some improvement has come.

Oh, heading off the forum again :D It is not adding value to me anymore. The good Pakistani posters have gone off line, we used to have disagreements, but they were civil. Now? Amazing to see the scum of the earth ruling the roost, on a defence site, knowing no difference between their behinds and their elbows :D

Off topic again. Stop insulting Muslims and our history.

Insulting Muslims? Okay, logic is insulting? When even Islam is not being discussed? A very convoluted logic. Please report and stop with the Delusion of Persecution. I am sure what does not conform to PDFian written history is insulting :D

If what I was saying was so obvious then why can you still not grasp what I am saying? the COUNTRY of India did not exist AT ALL before 1947, not just "like this".
LOL! Again parroting, thankfully we don't have a severe cognitive disability, we know that perfectly.
No, what I mean by that is that the word "India" comes from the Indus River, which flows through Pakistan. That's why. "Your" history, if you are referring to your republic, extends to 1947. The history of your land extends further, but I doubt as far as our land's (IVC spread from Indus River to the land that constitutes modern India).
Indus originates in Tibet. Dang!!! China trumps all ya. Then it flows through Indian territory and then to Pakistan. So much childish sentiments.
By the same logic, it's not 'Your" history either. There are few provinces missing (FATA, AJK (if you consider them privinces) and add to that the largest IVC site is not in Pakistan, TBH it's funny you "claim" but facts don't substantiate them and the thing about Archeology is it's constantly evolving, new sites are being discovered further east. Nice attempt at drawing some history and it's good to see a few people are at least trying for an identity that's pre-historic. Are you taught about these, say the Mauryans, Ashoka, Shaka, Kushana etc...??
I guess not. Alexander the great vs porus, then dark..... then pops up at Umayyads.

Cognition. Indian subcontinent includes parts of Pakistan, Bangladesh, parts of Afghanistan etc...

The book cannot mention something that didn't exist before 1947. Pakistan.:D That's why they correctly mentioned the names of the regions. I guess you didn't read the book at all, the book mentioned how Mughals entered the subcontinent through "Afghanistan" because Pakistan is part of the subcontinent.
empires, referring to those outside of the reach of Pakistan's current borders or even those within our borders but based more toward the east of the subcontinent i.e near the ganga river.
I'm not gonna draw more on that further, it's better you're like this. Fun to read these laughable claims.

Indian rats have a civilized discussion in various forums. Even in here, there was no instance in my time in PDF I called a Pakistani by derogatory names. But hey, two different upbringing.:D

And I accept your apology, but then I wasn't hurt by your remarks, Hinduism survived more than 3000 years through invasions both Philosophical, and though forced conversions by other religions, yet here we are, so your remarks don't even make a ripple in my beliefs. The word Hindu was somewhat coined by the British, but I wouldn't go so deep given your tendency to draw ire and trouble mods.
why not use "porki" if you're so confident in your honesty? i'm sure you don't use it elsewhere.
There is a search function in the forum, use that term and type my name in the "Posted by member" box. :) You wouldn't find any.

@Cobra Arbok used to be reasonable, he talked in a well-articulated way about history, what he is now is as a result of people like you who calls them names, abuses, lol. It has gotten so bad that there is a direction given by Slav Defence with the list of names you shouldn't call in the forum lol. How sad, people don't even know what words are offensive.

I have done research that India was name given by Martian Languages Xerzes dialect, my original research.:woot:
