Pakistan’s first Phd holder woman BB Qureshi dies at Edhi Home | The News Tribe

Karachi: Doctor BB Qureshi, Pakistan’s first Phd woman died in Edhi old home on Wednesday.
BB taught in different national and international universities and also claimed to have taught former United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan.
She has been living in Edhi Home for long as she had not married due to her busy life.
Qureshi was offered accommodation at Governor’s House by Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad but she had excused.

Our kids and youngsters with the blessings of our media knows celebrities from across the world, they know the likes of Veena Malik and Sania Malik... but who they don't know are these unsung intellectual heroes (heroine in this case)... she migrated from India and chose to live and die in Pakistan. The women was serving the nation till her last breath and that's why she chose to be burried in Edhi's Graveyard... and she departs rather living a miserable life. Sigh!
