Pakistan’s first locally produced electric car unveiled on Independence Day

Good start. Obviously it's not comparable to other vehicles in the EV market, but they also promise to price it much less too.

Hold your expectations though - that range is useless for anyone who wants to travel outside of a city,

I doubt it will be a commercial success.
It's not designed to cater to intercity travel. It's for the daily commute and a bit more. Most manufacturers except the likes of Tesla are targeting the 200-300km range at the moment.

What concerns me are the wheels. How will the car survive Karachi potholes the size of Mian Sahab's backside?

I would be good alternative for Petrol but if Electricity prices went low, but given the fact that Pakistan suffers from shortage it would be much successful, but still good work.
