Interesting, why's that?

a resource rich country has artificially created problems due to poor policies ..even the IMF problem is simply an artificially created CAD due to mismanagement in election years

We are almost self sufficient in gas with vast coal reseves and producing 1/3 power with hydro and potential of 60,000 mw projects identified yet we have power crisis

I also believed that PMLN failure was not due to nawaz shrif, nawaz looked like a decent guy(everyone is corrupt to some degree) but his more corrupt finance minister and highly incapable planning minister

You rarely see a gem who is both a politician and an actual technocrat as compared to a fake Aristotle (aka ahsan iqbal)

For example had govt devalue the rupee as india did in 2016 and kept the fiscal deficit to 4% instesd of ballonning it to 8.8% in election year we would have not needed IMF ..alreadu the CAD has dropped to half and expected to drop to manageable 3% by end of this year..in otherword it was purely artificially created for winning votes as common uneducated man looks at rupee dollar parity and inflation to assess govt performance a flawed thought process created by decades of political point scoring

India devalued rupee by 20% while we appreciated it by 10% from 2016-2017...

Same is true for power sector 10 years of deficit was just 700b rupees..nothing extra ordinary but all of suden govt stoppped collecting bills last year and did a single year deficit of 450b.

Yup grand subsidy transfer in effect (for populist vote buy attempt). Very socialist actually (while they try optically project as more right of centre).
