If open for Indians then Pak small producers will be vanished, because India produce what we utilize " culturally" . Then whole Pakistan will be sitting on 20 thousand rupee Bajaj and Atlas Honda will be disappeared from map. Unfortunately too much black mailing in the name of industrialization. Companies try to control market and profit margin through political means and increase the price of product by blaming international market and serving good bribes among concerning govt departments.

You have a FTA with China which allows China to dump anything into pakistan. You think small pak producers stand a chance there, competing with cheap imports. Your steel industry is one example which is hurting badly due to chinese cheap steel imports.
India has a trade deficit with China too. But our Bajaj and splendors are still here and growing.

Good news. Growing trade and people to people interactions are the only things that will ever improve relations between our countries.

Pakistan stops our medicine , automobile and IT/Communication giants from entering in Pakistani Market. We have a higher hand in these things.

Meanwhile we openly accept Pakistani Cement and Textiles which the produce more than their needs of domestic consumption.

India should for safe guarding its industries should stop import of Pakistani Cement and Pakistani textiles untill they allow Indian Automobiles, Communication and Medicine giants in Pakistani market.

No India need our industry products is the reason they have not stopped importing cement and textiles and we are not here to fight we are here to remove negativity from both nations !

Need is there , but its not killing. We cannot ignore the fact that on one hand Pakistan gets no restrictions in its strong hold , I.e Textiles ,and at the same time even the entry of Indian Automobile , IT and other industries. Trade should be on equal basis.

And no , we are not here to remove negativity , just to extract profits. Nothing more , nothing less.

By the way the point I was trying to make was not about what Pakistan needs , but why isn't Pakistan granting access of Pakistani markets to Indian companies where we have an upper hand , but complain when we give our Indian textiles preference ?
