Pakistan's exports to India may reach $1 billion

Pakistan should open the way to trade to Afghanistan and see this figure grows exponentially. Pakistan is killing it's industries by allowing dumping from China, literally.

there I agree with you but it wont happen

what do you think what is afghanistan producing nothing
Yes Pakistan will allow trucks from afghan to go India, but remember one thing you should check the whole truck as it could be hidden cocaine or heroine.
Pakistan is already exporting wheat to Afghan.
Remember China is producing IPhone so how can you call Chinesse item so bad or third class

If relationship between two improves..Pakistan has great potential to export its skilled IT professionals to India...the remittance will be in billions...also, we can trade in our own currency rather than using dollars..Indian auto and telecom giants can setup units in Pakistan generating huge employment...there is lot of potential but we are stuck in something called as Kashmir...
Relationship b/w India and Pakistan can never stable until Kashmir issue resolved properly on the wishes of Kashmiri hindu and Muslims
Last time a Pakistan Transporter try to meet ratan tata to buy almost 4 to 5 hundred trucks from TATA but he even did not like to meet him. In this atmosphere how can we expect good trade b/w India and Pakistan
we should get lesson from French and German nations once they were brutal rivals but now they are friends and good neighbour and also have good business

Pakistan needs to maintain a balanced trade through regulations and duties. Normally Indian products are substandard so anti dumping and higher import duties can balance it out.

Mfg will produce, whatever quality you order, India, China or any other respected nation. Quality depends on the person ordering what they want and how much they want to pay for it.

Our problem with India isn't trade, it is their (undeclared) policy to make sure our products get to market as late as possible costing our producers excessive amount of money and time. This is achieved by customs not clearing the product in Time and letting it sits on ports, collecting dirt.

Pakistan and india should come to an agreement regarding transporting goods via pakistani port to north western india.
For states like kashmir punjab, haryana and UP the transport cost via pakistan will be much lower than bringing them via indian ports in southern india and pakistan can benefit from the charges associated with transport routes. Pakistan also has a surplus of cement production and afghanistan's market isn't large enough to address that.

The trade I mentioned is trilatreal in nature. Involving Indo-pak-Afghan at initial stages. Not just India to Afghanistan .

Second, China doesn't decide quality level on an iPhone.

Third, For your info Google "dumping" in trade for further info.

If open for Indians then Pak small producers will be vanished, because India produce what we utilize " culturally" . Then whole Pakistan will be sitting on 20 thousand rupee Bajaj and Atlas Honda will be disappeared from map. Unfortunately too much black mailing in the name of industrialization. Companies try to control market and profit margin through political means and increase the price of product by blaming international market and serving good bribes among concerning govt departments.

India is Singapore's major trading partner. If Indian products were substandard, Singapore wont do as much business as she is a rich and developed city state. We all know that for Singapore its only the quality that matters and not cost.
