India specifically is not a Hindu nation, so why is that even a question? Did I ever claim that India is a Hindu nation? And yes, Indians --Hindu or otherwise-- don't need to lean on religion to define their nation. Remember there is no "Hindustan ka matlab kya....". There is only one nation who took this jumla and we know how well it went.

Interestingly, why are you not able to wrap your head around a simple fact: Modern nation states are not defined by religion --or atleast religion alone. The fact that Pakistani like you are in Canada and will probably naturalize to Canadian citizenship is the biggest proof! Its a pity that Pakistani don't realize this till date. Or may be they do but they are too afraid to admit it publicly.

The very frustration and abuse you are hurling is the proof that you belong to what like of Hassan Nisar say -- "Mashqshuda Nazariyat": A botched and maimed world view.

Religion is enough reason to secede and form a nation.

Are you aware that South Sudan has no religious majority? They are not a nation defined by religious identity?
Neither Muslim nor Christianity, its infact quite a diverse group of people. The country you are quoting --South Sudan-- is quite opposite to a religiously defined country.

The issue was of Arabic-Sudanese and African-Sudanese. Africa sudanese were neglected by Arabic sudanese.

Also, wrt East Timor, if you had an ounce of knowledge of history, you had known that East Timor was under occupation of Portugal and then Indonesia since 1975. It was more of a struggle of freedom following brutal and murderous rule by Indonesians. Real about Mascare of Dili.

The problem with all Pakistani is that they see religion in everything, guess thats not reality. But then, if they were real, they would not have been Pakistani.
