Have you ever been to Karachi, I know many Pakistani, with their great grand parents who have lived in Bhagalpur, Bijnor, Amritsar, Bhopal, Gaya, etc. Most of them are now high ranking officers in Foreign service of Pakistan, Pakistan administrative services, Army, etc

From which angle you think General Musharraf was Greek? Or Zardari is greek? Pervaiz Musharraf is a proud Pakistani. But he never calls himself a greek or aryan or something wannabe .

When Alexander came to India, he had soldiers full of Greeks, Persians army and Persian tribes. So they might be from soldiers of Alexander's army but it is likely that those soldiers were Persians as you said.

I have many times accepted Indian ancestory in this thread as well as on every pdf thread where it was necessary.

Our country was formed on the basis of Islam, and not on the basis of who is Bhaiya, or Rajput, or greek, aryan etc nonsense. Many migrated to Pakistan because they were Muslims. Otherwise they should have mentioned before partition, that Pakistan is only for pure blood aryan and greek , etc nonsense ancestry only and not for others.

However, I am aware of Plutarch, he is a very widely read and used historian, his history on the Roman Republic is widely studied so are Livy and Polybius' works. Of course, this does not mean everything those men wrote was correct, sometimes they worked from other historical sources from their own time period.

It was not Indian record, it was just a record by people who lived there. And were not greeks. You would have found few records if the library in Egypt was not destroyed. All records of superiority of subcontinent has been destroyed by christians and britishers.

Most of the records which exist today are from Greek Historians only.

So how do you know what "our records" say if they have been destroyed? From historical sources (I think Macedonian) sources as well we understand that in the Battle of Hydapses near Multan and Jhelum river Alexander was struck with a arrow from an archer. The arrow pierced through his chest plate, it did not kill him but wounded him and he was withdrawn from the battle field and sometime later (maybe month+) he died from a fever as he tried to recover from the wound.
