Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s sister, Randi Zuckerberg, was one of the many notable names who attended the three days long AdAsia 2019 conference in Lahore. Randi Zuckerberg was the center of attention on the last day of the conference as she spoke for an hour to a jam-packed hall.
Talking at the conference, Randi heaped big praise on Pakistan, calling it one of the friendliest countries in the world. She also talked about the achievements of Malala Yousafzai and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, which according to her, shows how Pakistanis always honor their women.
Speaking about Pakistan’s world-famous football balls, she said that she was surprised that Pakistan was a preferred supplier of soccer ball across the globe. She further added that this helps Pakistan being known among the Football-playing nations.
Randi Zuckerberg is also one of the founding members of Facebook. The 37-years-old revealed that she never thought she would end up working as the chief marketing officer of Facebook for 10-years, a place she planned to stay for one week. She added that Facebook has grown from just from a team of 12 members to 102 offices with thousands of employees.
“As the chief marketing officer of Facebook, my budget was nothing. You have to work on a passion project, exploring it day and night.”
Randi Zuckerberg is passionate about music and it was her passion that led to Facebook introducing the Facebook Live feature. She disclosed that she launched a live Facebook band which ended up a complete flop. But it wasn’t so long when American President Barack Obama expressed his desire to interact live with people. Randi Zuckerberg added that this site is now used by 2.5 billion people in the world.
