The specific purpose of these Elite lady commandos is to conduct raids in more conservative area's of Pakistan especially in rural and backward areas. I remember a few years back when Mr. Durrani was the IG KP, our gardener in Peshawar who lived in the nearby village, told me once that the lady commandos have been conducting night raids in coordination with male SWAT teams in all of the surrounding villages and have arrested a lot of terrorists. Their MO is to take point and breach and enter through windows and roofs to check if any females are in the compound and once they would give all clear, then the male commandos would step in. This would ensure the safety and concealment of the women in the house and local were happy and more than willing to cooperate with the LEA.
These lady commandos are no joke because taking point in a CQB situation requires guts. Their usefulness will increase now more than ever after the formal merging of the most conservative FATA in KP.
