Pakistani, Russian and Chinese firms sanctioned for Nuke supplies

Israel has Nukes for years now,which country in ME was threatened due to that.

Pakistanis clapping their hands on Iran developing a nuke has to realise that Pakistan is closer to Iran than Israel.Iran emergence wol dundermine pakistans importance in Islamic world and increase the tensions too.

Pakistan recently said they support Iranian nuclear program for peaceful purposes, and even if Iran does get Nukes., I hardly doubt they will use it aganist a muslims country knowing full well pakistan can strike them in a heart beat. But Iran getting a nuke is good in a way that it will calm Isro ambitions down for a short amount of time to build up the army, etc.

iran is no bodys friend, its a shia state with plans to dominate the middleeast, espcailly saudiarabia, we can easily see the iranians response in iraq and how they sided and took booty of 350 million $$ to saty out of falluja and they aided US against the sunni muslims. iran has also opposed the struggle of the Afgans against russia and never helped, even though communism was almost at her door step.

Iran is controlled by fanatics not politics. and fanatics will do anything for themselfs only. Even if we read the arab history and the time of crusades shiats had always their own aganda about killing muslims and siding with the jews. Iran wont stand a chance againt US and the Allies. Iran has depleated resources from Oil aonly which can easily be sanctioned by the naval forces commissioned in the arabian gulf.

Iran should not be allowed to develop nuclear bombs, this will never end and the race will go in the ME. Irans nuclear development will not stabilize the Me but make it for un-secure.

Dont give much value to those statements even India said so, but you saw what happened when it was put to vote.Other than chavez there will be nobody supporting Iran if they terst a nuke, including the russians and chineese.

I have always told you there is nothing as mulsim brother hood among arab countires/missle east.Every body has their own issues and tensions with each other.

Iran has issues with UAE over some islands,if gwadar comes up the iranian guards might go to sleep you can never be assured of anything if you have a nuke armed neighbour,and if you have two then its even worse.

Exactly.Is it in Irans interest to develop nuke weapon?
Crude/Gap prices have become even more precious,rather than taking the opportunity and developing the economy/providing jobs the iranian leadership is more interested in empty rheotorics and thus detsroying the investment climate.

Huh? :confused1: I know that. My post was in response to Jana who wished to know why the US developed the nuclear bomb. The Nazis had a parallel program going on. It was a race that would have decided the result of the war.

What makes you think that Iran's arsenal is Pak specific? We have no beef with Iran, no border issue or ethnical problems. We've never interfeerd in their domestic issues.

i dont see iran emerging as a threat for pakistan. pakistan will not lose its importance becuase we are sunni and very close to all the sunni regimes in the middle east. also our military strenght if not better is certainly comparable to iran. after eygpt i think we are the dominant military in the region.

P.S i think that we should not associate ourselves to the middle east and keep refering ourselves as south asian because if any one hasnt noticed ME is quite an unstable place.
