Well both the forces are highly professional . Our subcontinent has seen many great officers/commanders .

This isn't something too new you know. Sri Lanka and Pakistan have been exchanging students for alot of years, in Staff College, ASL Murree, AST, and other army educational institutions.

Not only Sri Lanka, but alot of other countries like the central Asian states, Nepal, China, Arabs, and a few former Soviet states.

One guy from Uzbekistan (I think) about 5 or so years back was so giddy about his visit to Pakistan that in the weekends during the course, he hired a taxi for the whole weekend and visited the whole city and it's surroundings and bought loads of stuff!!!

So what??

In the Indian version of DSSC course held in TN officers from USA and other NATO countries regularly take part.Forget about staff college our jungle warfare and high altitude schools are considered the best in the world and have regular visitors from Nato countries.
