Pakistani MMA team Visits Cherat - The Den of SSGs

. . . . . .
Great video to share and Mr Bashir is a great catalyst for Pak society introducing MMA in Pak.

Pak society requires such people instead of narcotics and vulgarity being spread by our own media channels in society.

Cool video. I was waiting for ssg vs mma fight tho :(

Ive been following Bashir Ahmed on social media and YouTube for nearly a decade. I remember the very first days when he started his local MMA competitions, outdoor in the quiet suburbs of Lahore on wrestling matts. Masha Allah he's come along way to promote the sport of MMA in Pakistan and is continue to make it into a professional recognised body despite no government support or funding. Pakistan has almost lost its tradional combat sports such as Kabadi and wrestling. Bashir is an ideal person to work with SSG as he is a master of Muay Thai and a qualified well trained instructor of Brazilian Jujitsu, groundwork grappling. No doubt the SSG are a formiddle force but to work with Bashir (I'm assuming he's sharing some grappling techniques as he's been visiting frequently over the year) will only further strengthen the capabilities of the uniqueness of the SSG battalion. At the same time training under the SSG would be an honour. I'm sure Bashir and his team certainly would have built their stamina physically and emotionally. Bashir should be hired to teach the police Rangers FC and other law enforcement agencies unarmed combat skill.

it wouldn't shock me if bashir beat the ssg in one on one hand to hand combat, just like it wouldn't shock me if any trained mma fighter took out some one from the sas or seals, commandos train in hand to hand combat, but they do everything to prevent being left to fight with there hands. its not some chuck norris movie, where in a middle of a gun fight they decide to drop there guns and go with the hands.
SSG like other specialy forces will be trained in hand to hand combat and knife fighting skills. They would need to if they carry out surprise attacks behind enemy lines. Silent and deadly.

or you could get a silencer and shoot a guard without making noise.
there not trained to the extent an mma fighter is specialised in the art of martial arts thats what they rely on. if an ssg guy was put in a cage with a mma guy, the mma guy will break his arm and batter him, commando practice martial arts but they don't rely on it, ive watched countless navy seal documentaries and they've stated martial arts in actual combat scenario does not work, having knife skills is different then fighting with your bare hands.
MMA has rules such as no eye poking, striking the opponents groin, beating them to death once on the ground etc. Special forces don't have rules they learn once down finish them off meaning kill them ASAP. Special forces are not in the job to win titles they are in it for a purpose such as national security and defence. SP as someone said on a different post also learn and practice so many other things of survival that MMA fighter would never use or require. Two different scenarios. Special forces would most likely also use a bladed weapon.

Try poking the eye of a well trained fighter who understands distance, very very difficult, an SSG or frankly any spec operator would get murdered by a guy who does nothing else but grapple and kick and punch day in day out.Kudos...btw do you not think an mma fighter could not strike in the balls first, surely he would be much faster and technically far superior to the SSG guy who only practices intermittently with these techniques.

Cherat Training facilities should be modernized,I have analyzed the whole Video to see something from the SSG training !
Hopefully more funds will be allocated for this, at the moment this war on terror is really draining our finances.Kudos

That's what Krav Maga teaches kicks to the groin. I'm not stating a pro MMA fighter will lose to a special forces operative. MMA fighters focus on one thing alone which is martial arts and body conditioning. Im not bosting either, in the past i had a sparring match with a rough street fighter a few years ago. He throw many punches and kicks which hurt me badly as I wasn't conditioned to fight or face such brutal attacks. once I had a padded stick in my hand and stroke the individual a few times with various shots and angles he had to retire as he wasn't trained in how to fight with martial arts weapons. Same with an SP operative he may know more than the basic hand to hand combat skill than the average person but to against a professional fighter who may have dedicated their life to MMA the SP would lose.
