and that is wht I am asking..... How many cases or examples anyone have seen where a ship had taken out incoming missile forget supersonic missile, even normal missile.

While Brahmos at top speed flies some 17% faster than a shell from a Mk 8 gun, that shell is just a fraction of the size of Brahmos. I therefor think a succesful intercept of Brahmos by a missile like VL-Sea Wolf is quite possible in spite of this having relatively short range, which limits reaction time (the VL version has longer range than the original Sea Wolf). Missiles such as ESSM have longer ranges than Sea Wolf and are faster (Mach 4+)....

Missiles are not the only Defence which PN Vessels have against Brahmos, don't forget EW and Chaffs. Milgem is equippt with Aselsan Electronic Attack System, which could probably jamm the active Radar Seeker of Brahmos.
