An utterly shamfeful act to spread self made propaganda using wikileaks to suggest Indian involvement in balochistan...instaed of this stunt, they could have asked Mr. Musharaf for the proves, as he has claimed that he already has the poof. It would have been so easy.

Needless thing to do in the first place. Anyway since they have owned up lets move on.

p.s.: But the devil in me thanks the Express Tribune for the entertainment they indirectly provided for the past two days.

please share the source of that as well...last I heard Gilani was supposed to share the proofs of Indian involvemnet when there is a need to do so..and that need has not arised yet it seems :pop:

The reactions shown here are utterly horrendous and hypocritical. Here we have pages of abuse heaped on Pakistan, Pakistanis and Pakistani media and none of my Indian friends have the good sense to consider what happens when the Indian media falsely accuses Pakistan. Is there ever an "owning up"? Is there ever an "apology"? For YEARS now the Indian media has been printing stories about the ISI masterminding 26/11. There is NO evidence to this effect and in fact, in these very same WikiLeaks it has become clear that no one at a global level bought this argument. How many apologies have been published in the Indian press for this? This is just one small example. Numerous abound.

I am incredibly proud that our newspapers issued an immediate correction in a PROMINENT place and in fact ran a full length article to explain it all. This is maturity, proper journalistic conduct and propriety. All human beings make mistakes. Great human beings own up to them. If your mental challenges and horrendous levels of bias prevent you from recognizing maturity, then shame on you.

THREAD CLOSED.
