Pakistani media comments on Bangladesh development

With the present setup of criminal absconders, liars, thugs, thieves, and robbers and all institutes abetting - not possible even in the next hundred years.

Once the absconders, liars, thugs, thieves, and robbers are removed, won't take too long.

Pakistan has the basic economic fundamentals right, and is far stronger in some indigenous technology and sourcing areas.

What is hurting and will hurt Pakistan is mass mobilization of women in the labor force...

Presently, the circumstances seem much more difficult as institutes are compromised. Bureaucracy is also corrupt to the core and abetting corrupts.

All fundamental rights which could relieve the public have no priority for courts while the elite corrupts are enjoying VIP treatment. PM & CM are father/son and both are to be indicted for money laundering of billions of Rs. With a majority of 02 seats in parliament, they are changing all those laws which could resist them and their likes for corruption in the future.

A considerable population of women in the white-collar communities and at the poverty level are already contributing hard at their level. The pace, the businesses/industries were going to take off was jeopardized by the regime change conspiracy.

Corruption is not the problem.

Bangladesh is far more corrupt.

Pakistan’s problem is the military industrial complex and suppression of women rights.

You simply cannot prosper if 50% of your population do not work!!!

But, who are going to bell the cat? All with political or money power are same not only in Pakistan but also in Bangladesh. It is two roses in one bud.

I found IK is not corrupt. People may blame him, but he was busy in finding funds from different sources to stop or delay the bankruptcy of the country. However, his Russia mission was bad for his future. He wanted also to trade in Rubble.

Whatever our brats tell here, do not please think BD is really developing. A few roads and bridges are not the recipe of development if they are built with foreign money.

We can say a country is developing only when industries are built one after another. This is happening in Vietnam only. There was a time when once it happened in both wings of Pakistan when Ayub Khan was the President. But, we all together ousted him from power.

As @Bilal9 has commented in his post, Pakistan has real potentiality to industrialize with many people having experience in small industries making spare parts. I have seen a few videos too in the PDF.

And industrialization must be supported by the non-interrupted supply of electricity. And BD has fulfilled this minimum criteria, but Pakistan will have to do it. I wonder what happened to Mangla and Tarbela power stations?

You keep saying, “you cannot develop with borrowed money”.

There are two problems with your statement regarding Bangladesh.

1. Bangladesh has one of the lowest debt to GDP ratios in the world.

2. Post war europe and Japan developed entirely through US largesse. It took Britain until 2008 to repay US government debt. Without US bailout - Japan and Europe would be on the scrap heap.

On paper, Pakistan has a lot of potential but these will never be realised due to their two problems I highlighted above.

You always underestimate Bangladesh’s progress. You were one of the doom mongers who predicted mass deaths from covid.

UKBengali was right and you were wrong.

You are like a broken clock - right only twice a day.

No country with a large population ever developed with borrowed money. That country needs heavy industrialization to produce wealth and keep people employed. This is as simple as that.

A few roads and bridges here and there built with borrowed money is no recipe for development. No industries means no real development.

Bro!

I just gave Japan and Germany as examples. Massive loans from Uncle Sam called the “Marshall plan”.

Heavy industries now days are automated and provide very few jobs per dollar of investment.

A British steel mill that used to employ thousands now runs with a few dozen people and lots of robots.

Ditto auto factories. Fully robotised. And extremely low margins. Most car makers make a loss.

What worked 50 years ago. No longer works!

yup, as I've said it 3 times before; we must abolish it and prosper like BD. https://defence.pk/pdf/posts/13821053

Not one of these media personalities is willing to move to Bangladesh to enjoy the successful economic model. Wonder why?

Oh yes, Hitler borrowed money from the USA, redeveloped its industries after WWl and fought against it and all other European countries together. Read history and talk.

I am not writing here elaborate about Japan. But, read how Japan industrialized and developed long before it participated in the WWll. It fought simultaneously against China, France in Vietnam, America in the Philippines, Dutch in Indonesia and British in Malay, Singapore, and Burma.

No doubt, it did fight against all the big powers under Marshal Plan!!! Where do you live? Is it in the Mars?

Germany, France, UK and others in Europe came under the Marshal Plan but not that America built anything there like BD is doing. Those Europeans already had built their industries and infrastructures long before and they rebuilt it with the infusion of American help.

In the case of Japan, there was no Marshal Plan. Japan re-industrialized and redeveloped with its own efforts.

You don't know anything. Just shut your big mouth up and do not answer my posts before you learn the history. You are a pain in the ***, idiot!!

move to shonar desh where you are guaranteed an income of a whole 20 dollars per person per month from one of the indian garment factories. housing is dirt-cheap too, just get 4 sheets of corrugated iron and erect a house anywhere on the side of a railway track for free

A good leader will unite the people of the country and formulate a long-term development plan. Practise what you preach. Will not incite ethnic antagonism. Hasina is an excellent national leader. Respected.
