NEW DELHI: Grenades and ammunition made in Pakistan were among the items recovered from the site of the Maoist attack in Jharkhand, sources said, adding a fresh twist to the ongoing India-Pakistan stand-off.

Sources said a couple of grenades, pieces of blasted grenades and fired cases of bullets recovered from Latehar in Jharkhand have clear markings to show that they were manufactured in Pakistan. All ammunition contain details of the originating country, so do all the recovered ammunition from Latehar, where 11 CRPF jawans were killed and their bodies booby trapped with explosives.

It is for the first time that ammunition with Pakistani markings have been recovered from Maoists. In the past, some Chinese ammunition have been recovered.

The attack is being described by senior officials on the ground as one of the most gruesome Maoist attacks. After killing CRPF jawans, their bodies were tied with IEDs, and when one body was picked, it blew up to injure those who came to recover the bodies. Later, it was found that Maoists had surgically planted IEDs inside the dead body of a jawan as well.

The recovery of arms with Pakistani markings will add fresh pressure on the government in light of the beheading and mutilation of Indian soldiers in Jammu's Mendhar sector by Pakistani troops. For the past several months, evidence has been mounting of Maoists getting ammunition supply from Pakistan and China, sources said. But it is not clear if there is any credible evidence of Maoists enjoying any direct contacts with the agencies of the two countries.

However, it also raises questions if Pakistani security establishment has extended its reach beyond the Kashmiri groups to establish contacts with Maoists and foment the low cost war into the heart of India.

As per IB reports these ammunition are brought through Indo -Nepal (Bihar) border through smuggling & then travel there way down south to Jharkhand & distributed to various radical factions of Naxalites & even sold to criminals as well. Crux is the source remains Pakistan...

Yet another propaganda from India

First

*Soldier beheaded without any proof

Exclusively No evidence for Pakistanis.. coz you will keep saying "more evidence.. more evidence".."That's only information"..."that's not enough"..so please don't ask for any evidence coz those will be just printed white papers for you.

Evidence is ???

I think it's nonsense piece, I have .308 surplus stock from aus, turkey, can't be differentiated. As far as 7.62 x 39 all russian and chinese steel case look the same.

Btw does pakistani ordinance have any special marking on ammunition?

the score is 1:1 again :)

we too had found weapons with Indian Marking from TTP dens

So let me get this straight
Pakistan is supplying Maoists with weapons that are marked "made in Pakistan". And the Maoists are then leaving them around so the Indian forces can find them........

Cool story bro :drag:

maybe next time Pakistan will be supplying aliens with weapons and Indians will just happen to find them when they go to Mars in 2450 or when ever they are planing on going.

POF is the biggest manufacturer of ammo & nothing special is painted upon it.

*Unreliable source
