Recently, Joe Biden made. a remark on Kashmir. But Pakistani leader in Washington thinks, no matter who is the president of US, he will support only India.
Full interview -:
I agree, the issue isn't who supports who, if that was the case this would have been resolved after the 1962 war (America and Britain, with India, had promised a negotiated settlement if Pakistan did not attack, which they didn't).
No country can force another to act against their will, after "Do More" from America for 20 years it had to negotiate with the Taliban after begging Pakistan to help.
Even after a decade of massive pressure, Pakistan has not signed the FMCT treaty, the only country in the world that refuses to do so.
In effect countries are able to hold off a certain amount of pressure if they truly want something,
the issue is, our region will not have peace until the Kashmir issue is resolved to everyone's satisfaction, we need to move on and India needs to behave like a mature country.
If the British and the Irish can resolve the Northern Irish issue, which they have, and if we have already more then once come close to finding a solution, which we did, I do not see why a final resolution cannot be found that is acceptable to all the parties, it just requires a will and mature behaviour.
