Size of Pakistan’s economy is $313.13 billion, says SBP
https://tribune.com.pk/story/1762089/2-size-pakistans-economy-313-13-billion-says-sbp/

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) used a period average month-to-month exchange rate to calculate the GDP, which according to calculations came to around Rs108 to the US dollar. With the rupee having weakened further, the size of the economy is likely to have shrunk even more in dollar terms. The currency is currently hovering around the Rs128-mark as depleting foreign exchange reserves and a widening current account deficit create a headache for economic managers that are at a loss to save the country from a balance of payments crisis.

My question to you do you know math?
Are you a bloody idiot? Show me where World Bank, IMF, and United Nations said Bangladesh had a higher GDP Nominal than Pakistan.

Otherwise you are regugitating shit here!

BRING ME WORLD BANK STATEMENTS!

YOU ARE A LIAR! LOL

Pakistan has the higher Nominal GDP than Bangladesh has.

And I am not talking about GDP per capita.

Tell me idiot when world bank report comes out? It is just a matter of time to be officially declared. For now its just a simple math. The data your State Bank of Pakistan used 108 PKR / 1 USD, can you tell me from Jan - June, 2018 was at any point PKR was 108 / 1 USD let alone average figure.

If you know math the result is already in front of you. If you do not looking at the education sector of Pakistan I will not blame you.

Until the report comes out officially remain in delusion.

@Mr. Hawq, selective photographs do not show the real and average face and physique of the people of a nation. The photograph above shows the real face. Do they look white men? I doubt it and this is what we generally look like covered with black skin, round nose, and short stature.

We should not get swayed by what the Pakistanis say. We are what we are. There is no way we can pretend white when we are not.

Nah the above picture really is the look of your average middle class Sylheti coming out of 9 mill muslim sylhet pop you see among the diaspora who look no different from the non jat pakistani punjabi or middle class Pakistani punjabis I see in Canada barring the height difference.

Not possible due to daily terrorism threats from India from both the East and West.
It was certainly not India that unleashed terrorism on Pakistan, to begin with. Rather, it is Pakistan that has been fighting with its military and terror organizations to succumb India. When India started to resist with its larger military Pakistan started to enlarge its military and purchase weapons from the foreign countries.

This caused it to fail in the development of the country. Military people usually do not produce anything, but they take away a big chunk of national money as salaries, amenities, and privileges.

The USA used Pakistan and Taleban to get rid of the Kabul govt sponsored by the USSR. Now, it has dumped both and installed a govt of its choice in Kabul that it believes serves the long-term interest of the region. But, you are still sponsoring Taleban with money and weapons to fight against Kabul. Now, you are getting back what you have thrown at these two countries.

It is Pakistan which is supporting the hawkish Islamic elements to project its might. But, in the process, it is being similarly treated by its two neighbors. Why do you complain? Today or tomorrow Pakistan will have to face the reality of becoming an overpopulated poor country.

The best way to avoid it is to downsize your military establishment and keep peace with your two neighbors with the brokerage of big powers and start rebuilding your economy.

What was the conversion rate for PKR to 1 USD was used to calculate the figure. It was 108 and now it is around 124.

Your news paper also indicated Pakistan's gdp shrunk more compared to USD as PKR was around 128.

Sorry idiot, even if it shrunk, how much did it shrunk by?

Again you are giving vague answers.

Pakistani economy is still higher than Bangladesh's.

Nice try though.

I used an official organization. CEIC.

@waz @The Eagle @Horus

This @Black_cats is trolling on this Pakistani forum.

Show him his place here.

313 billion USD to 274 billion USD as Pakistan Ruppe conversion rate is around 124 Rupee compared to 108 rupee which was used for the calculation.

Total GDP shrunk by 8.75% :woot:

I have never seen so many folks willing to assist in chori - while they do not get any share of it. Part of it is the story they continue to be fed and be self-deluded with.

You have just destroyed your own argument.

Indonesia growth is down to 4-5% a year and it is not even a solid middle-income country yet.

Vietnam has a long, long way to go before it moves up from 3rd world status and it's growth is below 7%.

Please learn about a topic before commenting.

Indonesia growth nowadays is between 5-6 percent and its been the only Muslim country whose economy exceed 1 trillion USD.

This is what world bank said about Indonesia :

"The largest economy in Southeast Asia, Indonesia – a diverse archipelago nation of more than 300 ethnic groups -- has charted impressive economic growth since overcoming the Asian financial crisis of the late 1990s. The country’s GDP per capita has steadily risen, from $857 in the year 2000 to $3,847 in 2017. Today, Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous nation, the world’s 10th largest economy in terms of purchasing power parity, and a member of the G-20. An emerging middle-income country, Indonesia has made enormous gains in poverty reduction, cutting the poverty rate to more than half since 1999, to 9.8% in 2018."

Sylhet or what, it is a part of Bengal/Bangladesh. All the people are same, any district has not a distinct mix of DNA. Historically, the Bengali population is a mixed-gene of a) Mongols from the north, b) Dravidians from the south, and c) Negroit people from Chota Nagpur of India. Together these people formed the core of Hindu society of Bengal.

- The next group of people is the Aryans from the west and north of then India. They almost remained separated from the local that I have said at the top. This later group formed the Brahmin, Boiddo (Kobiraz/doctor), Kayastha and Koibarta.
-The next and last group is the immigrants of Aryan-blooded Afghans along with Khilji Turks in 1200 CE, Persians, Yemeni and Qatari Arabs, and Mongols. They were Muslims who settled here and there was quite a conversion of Hindus after the Mughal power conquered this land in around 1576.
-Thing is, with all the infusion of foreign fair-skinned people, the majority of Bengali Muslims remained dark-skinned. Of course there are at least 25% people who are a little fair-skinned with sharp nose, most of the people though are dark with round nose.
- It is not only Sylhet where fair-skinned people are seen. I see the similar thing in all the areas of BD. So, fair-skin thing canot be special for Sylhet.

After reading the account of Kwaja Osman Khan Afghan settled in the Sylet-Uhar areas with his retinue in around 1577, I used to think Sylhet people should have more of the fair-skinned Pathan blood than other part of BD. But, I found it is not so. People look same there like in any other districts. 70-80% dark skinned with flat/round nose and 20-30% fair-skinned with sharp and high nose.

To understand why it is so you have to read and understand the immigration history of then non-Bengali people during the Muslim period.

Lol, Vietnam got more chance than Bd in Economic front in the long run with their superrior HDI, industrial prowess, and much more stable political situation.

Indonesia is nothing to say, an only 1 trillion US dollar economy in Muslim world, stable 5 percentage growth, fully diverse economy and have world class company in 500 Forbes list along with large pool educated youth and top ten engineering graduated in the world to support our large manufacturing industry

https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/countries-with-the-most-engineering-graduates.html

Not to mention in recent years we are catching up in publication of scientific journal output

Facial features are different than Pakistanis. Even a dark-skinned Pakistani has the look of Pakistanis. We are not discussing skin color alone. Overall anatomy of a Pakistani and Bangladeshi are very different. Neither is superior, we are not discussing that.

Even with our common looks, Pakistanis have more variations in phenotype than Indians and Bangladeshis because of our history and mixtures.

I have no idea what you mean by Jat/non-Jat. Jats are just one clan among many in Pakistan. Punjabis, like Pukhtoons and others, as a race can vary between very dark to extremely pale. The average falls in the middle.
