I was wondering what the reaction of pakistani members would have been had the situation been reversed say
Muslims being forced to become hindus or christians in India
What is there to wonder about my dear?
Our reaction would be exactly the same:
Hinduism / Christianity is a belief system and you cannot force an individual to adopt it. They would declare that they are Christian / Hindu in order to save themselves, however their heart would reject such a notion.
No, it cannot be rejected. Their sons and daughter will be teach different religion and he has to adopt that.
Don't you know converting back to Hindu means getting killed if I have good knowledge of law.
Forced conversions
Saturday, September 19, 2009
The parents of a young Hindu nurse, who disappeared over a month ago after leaving her Karachi home for the welfare hospital where she worked, continue their search for the daughter. So far their efforts have proved futile. They are not alone. The Sindh Assembly was told in its last session that during the last four months of the current year, 30 to 35 members of minority communities most of them Hindu had been kidnapped; eighteen girls had converted to Islam and one was killed. The fate of the others is presumably unknown.
The pattern is one that has accelerated sharply in recent years. Christians in Punjab have made similar complaints centred around the issue of young girls, some mere teenagers, who have been forced to convert and marry Muslim men. The details compiled by rights groups indicate that the life of such women is often grim. Some have tried to escape, others have been murdered. This is one part of the growing violence against minorities that we are seeing. The matter needs to be paid urgent attention to. No society so deeply fractured by sectarian divide can blossom. Pakistan must prove it is a state capable of offering a safe place to live for all its citizens. This, after all, is the vision that was laid out by the founder of the nation. It is our duty, as citizens, to ensure that it is turned into reality.
Indeed some Muslims advocate the death penalty for those who openly rebel against Islam after having accepted it, however in a court of shariah law a forced conversion is not recognised as a declaration of faith to begin with.
Remember, in Islam you are not allowed to take the law into your own hands it all has to go through court. Whether or not people with Muslim names follow Islam, however, is a different matter.
So, if a person willingly embraces Islam and later willingly wants to leave Islam - then he must be punished by death. Is that right?
Ibn Muflih al-Hanbali rahimahullaah said in al-Furoo’ (6/53): It is haram for anyone to carry out a hadd punishment except the ruler or his deputy. This is something on which the fuqaha’ of Islam are unanimously agreed, as was stated in al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah (5/280): The fuqaha’ are unanimously agreed that the one who should carry out hadd punishments is the ruler or his deputy, whether the punishment is transgressing one of the limits of Allaah, may He be exalted, such as zina, or a transgression against another person, such as slander. End quote.

If they are in an Islamic State which applies the Law of Allah 'azza wa-jall , and they make their apostacy public, then the hadd punishment which is death, will be applied. That is however, after they've been given 3 days by the court to clear up any doubts the person may have, if that person repents then they are left alone, if not, the punishment will then be implemented.
It is haram for any Muslim to take the law into his own hands and kill an apostate.
Most Pakistani's here believe Turkey to be an Islamic country, when it is miles away from the same......
I have a lot of Turkish friends and let me tell you that turkish people are the closest to Pakistanis after Indian and Bengali Muslims. Forget about Istanbul and Ankara and you will be able to see things correctly.
Cite a few please. There have been many instances where Non muslims were forced to convert to Islam.
