A Sword-class guided missile frigate of Pakistan will make a three-day goodwill visit to the Philippines from Thursday to Saturday, the Philippine Navy said.
The Pakistan Navy Ship SAIF (FFG-253) will dock at Pier 15 in South Harbor. It is skippered by Captain Shahzad Iqbal.
“The visit aims to revive and strengthen the Pakistan-Philippines relations,” the Philippine Navy said in an advisory.
The ship will be welcomed by BRP Rajah Humabon (PS-11) at the vicinity of Corregidor Island.
A welcome ceremony and port briefing will be conducted after the arrival of the vessel. /cbb
