You vote on basis of what you think will be done, nobody knows future. There was near hysteria about corruption during end of congress regime in India, and general mood was 'anybody but congressi'.
We should wait 5 years, if Modi cant deliver, he might lose his seat. In politics, fortune can change rapidly, seasoned politicians get defeated in hands of newbe leaders all the time.
Good to know Modi makes quite a few Indians and non Indians happy.

by you I did not mean YOU(or pakistani) I mean in general, voters everywhere in the world. Did obama voters get what they wanted. Was the hype matched by substance? Its upto the american voters to decide.
Voters voted for hope in India too. There are myrid other factors that decide like education level, economic status, religion, caste, local/regional factors. Our relation with neighbour is one of such factors but in last general election anti corruption + development was deciding factor.

I'm in New York so I must tell you not to compare Obama's tenure with Nawaz & Modi's tenure. I swear its wayyyy better. . Indian and Pakistan's government are piece of garbage.

diferent societies, different requirements and priorities. Its silly to compare govts of countries which have completely different economic status. Obama should be compared with Cameron or Merkel realistically.
I was merely suggesting voters always hope its going to be better, its true everywhere, whether advanced country like USA or 3rd world country like India.

I agree, but somewhere in all this situation people should be blamed too.
