27 terrorists killed in Kurram

Tuesday July 26, 2011 (1229 PST)

PESHAWAR: At least 27 terrorists and four tribesmen of peace lashkar were killed in gunfights in Masuzai, Pakistani tribal area bordering Afghanistan, officials said on Monday.

A local government official Sher Buhadar told AFP that tribal lashkar was backed up by paramilitaries and artillery units of the Pakistan army.

Regional commissioner Sahibzada Anees confirmed the fighting and said more than 30 people had been killed in the skirmish. The death toll could not be verified independently as the area is out of bounds to the media.

Army spokesman Major General Athar Abbas said earlier this month that a military operation in the area would clear it “if terrorists involved in all kinds of terrorist activities, including kidnapping and killing of locals, and suicide attacks”.

Pakistan’s seven tribal districts bordering Afghanistan are rife with a home-grown insurgency, and are strongholds of the Afghan Taliban and al Qaeda.

Reference to the link of the radio conversation, I wonder how many have actually gone through the entire talk between the terrorist spokesman and the soldier.

In my opinion this conversation will not have any effect on Pakistani people who are doubting the Pakistan army operation against TTP or who have a soft corner towards the terrorists.

The reason why I think it wont have any effect is that there are far more graphic and gruesome episodes over the span of ten years throughout Pakistan which show the intent and real face of TTP. If still some people decide to justify TTP atrocities and continue to criticise Pakistan army then no more amount of videos and audios are going to change their view point. Whether such people will be spared in the next terrorist attack is anyone’s guess.

Misquoting the Hadith & Misinterpreting early event in Islamic history

The terrorist is misquoting the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH to justify the indiscriminate killings.
The terrorist justifies killing women & children on the basis of unavoidable eventuality of a conflict. He tries to give TTP killing of women & children as Islamic by citing the example of siege weapons (catapults) used by early Muslims, maintaining that catapult projectiles had the capacity to cause collateral damage but that didn’t stop the Muslims from using them. Here he is either misinformed and confusing the primitive siege weapons with Morden day mortars & artillery barrage or deliberately doing so hoping people will buy his logic. The purpose of those catapults (used by Muslims) was only to create breach in the city walls and fortifications, not target the population. Muslims had clear instructions even to ensure the safety of animals and trees let alone bring harm to women & children, old & sick and unarmed people.

The terrorist is refusing to accept the (well known) saying where Prophet warned about misquoting him & gave advice on how to verify whatever is being attributed to him.
The terrorist also refuses to accept the quotations from the soldier about the Hadith where the Prophet Muhammad PBUH distanced himself from killing the unarmed & innocent.



On Bombing Schools & Killing children

The terrorist shows no remorse & is even shamelessly proud of bombing bus carrying children belonging to army men.
The terrorist is denying the bombings of public places yet he also refuses to condemn the perpetrators (that’s were the soldier finally nails him)

I have. And if we noticed something, MashAllah the soldier was having great knowledge about Islam too, and he has been shutting the terrorist up, where he tried to change the topic and being in new discussion and was trying to talk passive.

What must be done to counter them is take control of madrassas in endangered areas, and start issuing a license for madrassas to operate.
Plus a little religious awareness in the people, so that they do not fall for the trap.

The operation was launched on July 13 in the valley where terrorists occupied the surrounding heights ranging from 4000 to 8000 feet and made sanctuaries and training centres from which they used to operate for various terrorist activities such as planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), fire raids and ambushes.

To eradicate these terrorists from the valley, a two-pronged operation was launched in 28-sq km area. During the operation, a number of terrorist were killed while three key militants were captured alive and a huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered.

The security forces also defused 16 IEDs and destroyed propaganda material being used by the miscreants to plague innocent minds of the youth. During search operation, it was found that terrorists had also committed the desecration, which bore testimony to the fact that these terrorists are oblivious of the Islamic values and to achieve their heinous objectives, they do not hesitate to commit blasphemy.

I have also heard the same.

My friend even told me that how these terrorists got strongholds in those areas. First of all terrorist from all over the world who could not find any place in the world to hide, came here, since they had handsome money with them, so they took houses on rent, by offering even double amounts of the normal prevailing rent. The landlords were happy and stand mortgaged in terms of hospitality. When they spent an year or more, the people of those areas didn't hesitate to make relationships with them, by exchange of daughters through marriages. The innocent people living there didn't even know the reality of those terrorists. Now they have kids there, and have very strong relations there.

In punjabi there is a saying "Jiday ghar daanay, ooday kamlay we sianay". (Those who are well off, their insane members even take dominance).

So whatever they say about shariah / islam was taken by the innocent people of those areas 'as in proposed manner'. Those people by said brainwashing have built their armies to fight against PA in the name of 'shariah'.

An ISPR press release on Tuesday said that the operation was successfully completed and security forces gained full control of Janata Valley inflicting heavy causalities on terrorists and capturing large caches of arms and ammunition.

The operation was launched on July 13, 2011 in Janata Valley where terrorists had occupied surrounding heights ranging from 4000 to 8000 feet, made sanctuaries, training centers from which they used to operate deep South for terrorist activities, planting improvised explosive devises, fire raids, ambushes.

To eradicate the terrorists, a two pronged operation was launched in 28 square kilometre area. A search operation found IEDs planted in Holy Qurans by the terrorists, pointing to the fact that the terrorists were oblivious to Islamic values and would indulge in all sorts of practices to achieve their heinous objectives since they did not hesitate to degrade the Holy Book.

During the operation a number of terrorists were killed, whereas three key terrorists were captured alive.

Besides destroying terrorists sanctuaries huge cache of arms, ammunition were recovered including two 75mm recoilless rifles, five 12.7 mm guns, one 82 mm Mortar, one missile launcher with two Missiles, fourteen 127mm Rockets and 50,000 rounds of various calibers.

Security forces also defused 16 IEDs and destroyed propaganda material being used by miscreants.
