Report says contract was signed with GIDS.some members were saying that GIDS is not there.

You are competing against China Russia and US for sales of defence item so generating these kind of sales is a near impossibility. Most of our product are Pak Sino collaborations and i am pretty sure chinese wont allow us to poach their market. Lets fulfil our own defence requirements in house before having dreams of grandeur.

• 40-41 million dollar deal is peanuts
• Pakistan's GDP is 300 Billion (300,000,000,000 USD)

This sale is not even 0.000133333333% of our GDP

I can imagine sales are possible many countries are looking for

a) Tanks
b) Fighter Jets
c) Missile Boats
d) Missile Batteries
e) Training Crafts
f) Small Arms


Turkey for example , are realizing their dream of sales for Helicopters and Frigates they invested time and effort to make larger products , and with proper quantity, their products are also properly marketed with High Quality Vides and Performance guidelines , the finishing is always crisp on items , for Turkey they have independent Units running on For "Profit Mind" set, Turkish Military is just one of their clients


Part of the challenge is Military Run Manufacturing is a high quality no doubt but because it does not have a "For Profit" mind set , that is why areas of sales are lacking behind

In this posters case the maturity train left the station ages ago! Believe me we have all tried and given up.
However I do agree it is a big contract. We would like to know what has been signed. It seems GIDS has just sold some weaponry. This is still a really good development.
