Pakistani celebrities from the showbiz and fashion industry alike are celebrating Independence Day with a colourful fashion show in Lahore.

Displaying beautiful dresses, the show celebrated not only green and white, but also the colours and culture of all the provinces. The show featured song performances as well as a cake cutting ceremony. Watch Samaa's report.

'Pakistan's Sweethearts' set to sizzle in Vogue India

The huge popularity of Pakistani TV shows across the border has landed our favourite stars in Vogue India.

Celebrities including Fahad Mustafa, Maya Ali, Sanam Saeed, Ayesha Omar, Sheheryar Munawar and Mehwish Hayat are set to sizzle in the upcoming issue of the popular magazine.

The team of Vogue India visited Pakistan for the special shoot.

Mahira Khan wins big at Vogue Beauty Awards in India

Dressed in blue denims and crisp white shirts, the six of them look their casual best as they struck a pose together.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Ayesha confirmed the news saying, “The six of us have done a shoot for Vogue India. Can’t reveal the title of it yet. Let it be a surprise!”

Katrina Kaif’s photo shoot sets Vogue ablaze

Mehwish also shared her experience saying, “It feels good to be appreciated within your country as well as globally for your talent and achievements.”

“I can’t reveal much about this shoot and the project as we aren’t allowed to, until it’s published,” she added.

Vogue Wedding Show 2016: Misha Lakhani takes her collection to India

Ayesha might like to keep secrets, but Mehwish relieved us of our curiosity by revealing the title.

“All I can tell you for now is that it features us as ‘Pakistan’s Sweethearts,'” she said.

The six of them are indeed our sweethearts and we can’t wait for the big reveal!
