5 Timeless Fashion Pieces Every Woman Must Have

All About 5 Timeless Fashion Pieces Every Woman Must Have and Fashion Tips fashion style and trends for your inspiration to be a trendsetter and make you more fashionable and confidence.Dabbling in the latest fashion fads can be all shades of fun, whether it’s sporting a splashy patterned maxi dresses or splurging on those uber-high platforms that make your legs look a mile long (but impede your ability to walk). Still, there’s a lot to be said for timeless fashion choices. We all have those days when we eye up our closet and conclude we have absolutely nothing to wear. And when those days hit, your beacon of comfort are those classic wardrobe pieces that can talk you off the ledge. Take a deep sigh of style relief by adding these five fundamentals to your wardrobe.

Black Pants

Black Pants

Figure-flattering black pants are a staple for any closet. In addition to looking and feeling confident when you wear them, black slacks, jeans and trousers can be matched up with a zillion other pieces, from tees and tunics to blouses and fitted jackets. The cut and fit is up to you are skinny, straight, cropped or boot. Bradley Bayou, author of “Sexy Science,” suggests choosing pants that balance your body, conceal your flaws and reveal your assets. His perfect-fit pants guide is a great place to start.

White T-shirt

White T-shirt

Nothing says timeless style like a quality white T-shirt. Available in a variety of styles from scoop and crew necks to deep V-neck cuts, a soft cotton tee says “understated style” and pairs well with jeans, shorts and skirts. A simple white tee can easily be dressed up with a boldly colored necklace or a loop-knotted scarf. While you might be tempted to grab one from your honey’s T-shirt stash, opt for a top that’s cut for a woman and complements your wardrobe. Not sure where to start? New York Magazine took the top tops for a test drive.

Neutral Handbag

Neutral Handbag

While a wildly bright-hued handbag can be fun and festive, a neutral purse that complements your wardrobe goes a long way in punctuating your style. Color trends can come and go, but shades of browns, blacks and metallics are classic styles that save you the time of switching from bag to bag. As a bonus, you’ll save a significant amount of money if you stick with a couple classic bags, rather than always running out to purchase the latest color of the month. While the shade might be neutral, the bag doesn’t have to be boring or drab. For example, Coach features a wide array of sleek and stylish shoulder bags in a plethora of neutral tones and understated prints that will look fantastic, keep you organized and only get better with age.

Black Pumps

Black Pumps

If you are looking for a dependable, professional and sophisticated choice for footwear, the classic black pump should top your list. While mega-high stilettos aren’t appropriate for all occasions, a classic black pump can take you from the office to a night out with ease. As a major bonus, black pumps can go with just about any outfit – for example, they will complement those skinny black jeans just as well as that boldly patterned dress. Harper’s Bazaar offers a handy list of criteria for hunting down the perfect pair of pumps.

Crewneck Sweater

Crewneck Sweater

When the weather is cool and you need something to keep you warm and cozy, a crewneck sweater should be your go-to. You can slip it on over a T-shirt along with your black jeans, or you can layer it over a collared long-sleeved shirt and pair it with trousers or a skirt. If you happen to catch a great sale, pick up several crewnecks in a variety of colors; unlike sweatshirts, which can be too informal for many occasions, the crewneck sweater can take you just about anywhere.

Fashionistas wake up to Pakistani suits
Pakistan and India might be acrimonious rivals on the political field, but not when it comes to fashion.

Pakistani serials have taken the nation by storm, and so has their style statements. Not only are characters of Indian serials sporting Pakistani suits, but now, even the masses are ditching their kalidars and going for the 'it' outfit this season.
Anupriya Dutta Gupta, a fashionista, says, "I am short and was, therefore, skeptical about wearing long kurtas. But I was amazed to see that these suits actually made me look taller. Shorter women should wear the suit with fitted and straight pants, while taller women can opt for palazzos and shararas."
Earlier, the influence of Pakistani fashion could be seen in North India. But the popularity of Pakistani serials like Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Humsafar have made the fashion common across India, and now, actors in serials such as Beintehaa, Humsafars and Shastri Sisters, too, wear it. Earlier, people were just stuck to anarkalis. But now, both young and old women want to experiment.
The trend has been on the ramps for a year, but it has trickled down to the streets only now. The straight cuts make you look tall, but the flared palazzos make you look stocky. The silhouette suits tall and hefty ladies, as it shapes the body. The most important thing about Pakistani suits is the embroidery, which should be intricate threadwork. The surface embellishment does all the talking, so the silhouette is basic and is given an easier palette of colours.
Not only are the suits comfortable, but they are also stylish. The suits flatter the Indian figure and is chic and classy. The fitted look makes a woman appear slimmer. You can play with various colours, but it looks best in hues such as emerald green, dark red and dark blue, which show off the embroidery. It can be paired with shararas, palazzos and even a ghagra.
The suits are much in demand this wedding season, which is why store owners are keeping a ready stock. Sometimes, clients confuse the suits with a straight-cut long jacket, but when they see the whole look, they are amazed.
It has been a natural progression after the palazzos stormed the market. Now, people want to put the palazzos to good use and when they see what can be done with them, they readily get the suits made.
The new trend has opened the Indian markets to e-commerce from Pakistani designers. Indian designers have also taken note of this and are making it a part of their collections. Hopefully, the suits will help us bridge the India-Pakistan divide!

The embroidery threadwork in Pakistani suits should be intricate and the surface embellishment does all the talking.

Straight and simple:

As compared to regular kurtas that come in various lengths — short, knee-length and long — the straight-cut Pakistani suits are lengthier and make you look taller and slimmer.

Forget churidars and boring salwars. Pakistani suits are normally worn with straight pants.

Taller women can also go for palazzos and shararas

Pakistani suits rely more on intricate threadwork or similar prints and laces.

Another specialty of these suits is that they are loose and airy. Since fabrics used are mostly light lawn cotton, they can easily hide your flab and flatter every Indian figure.
