Wow! It's the first time Pakistan participated and what an impression they made! The highlights for me were;
1. The Punjabi Dhol being played throughout.
2. The beautiful women in traditional Pakistani clothes, with all cultures represented, Kashmiri, Pakhtun, Baloch, Sindi, Darda, Punjabi etc. Many of them looked like university students and there were plenty of women in the crowd who commented on how pretty they were, especially the tall Pakhtun lady at the back . The men looked fab as well, I'm talking about the dudes who accompanied the elegant ladies.
3. The dancing horses! They just made the crowd leap up and people kept on shouting "please make them dance". The kids in the crowd just loved this act.
4. The numerous patriotic Pakistani songs were just fab.
It was great to see the guys here in London and the British crowd gave them a lovely and warm reception. Thank you to the embassy for organising this.
