Karachi already has a synagogue and countless temples, would love to see more popping around It's not about impressing the west, it's about doing what's right. Being separate from religion = non-religious. It would mean laws won't be dictated by religion. That means alcohol, drugs and homosexual marriages, among other things, get legalized. Not possible in Pakistan.

A pseudo-secular system is what most people mean when they say ''make Pakistan secular'', because they want to get rid of the Molvis.

Anyway, Pakistan will remain a Muslim-majority state, no matter what you declare it.
