Jagjit singh is jealous of new artists. He usualy criticises the poetry of new songs. He is angry that nobody gave him a chance rather they 'imported' rahat fateh ali. Hum kisi say kam hain kya.

but its wrong to say that its a two way process, playback singing for a TV shows is nothing as compared to huge shows that India organizes for Pakistani talents with million dollars contracts , but We should not brag about this as talent has no nationality.

Same can be said about our actresses then, the Indian actresses are contracted for large amounts of money for modelling in high profile campaign's while India hires our cheapest actresses for third rate films or shows.

Let face it, It's all money. Most of the Indian artist specially top class are paid lot more money here in India. For Example, Singer like Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, charges some 10,000+ $ (1 Million in Pakistan Currency) for 1 Day recording. Bollywood pays this because Budget of a single Hindi Movie is around 15,00,000 to 60,00,000 $ (6 Crore to 40 Crore per movie) . Actress Like Priyanka endorse a Brand with some 10,00,000-15,00,000 $ ( Means 8-10 Crore Rs. in Pakistani Currency Per ad). Who will pay 10 Crore in Pakistan for 20 Second Ad?

How can a Star like Rajnikanth (Tamil Superstar) can work somewhere else ? He took 1 Billion Pakistani Rs for last 3 Movies.

Many Indian artist works in international arena like Hollywood due to international exposure and Money.

If Pakistan Industry will be worth of Billion Dollar, Surely.. Popular Indian Artist will work more...

Jagjit singh can get more exposure as he is very popular among Gazals popular in Pakistan. But Overall, No one will go or going due to Money and any major Influence on large Audience.

This is something i never understood . India imports the best male talent from Pakistan but in female talent we import the most third class like meera and Veena malik . Weird . Never understood this .I am sure Pakistan has better female talent to offer.

Bcaz india has huge showbiz industry. Pakistani showbiz industry is tiny comparatively, so number of such concerts is much lower.

that's because Indian actress are popular in Pakistan !! and I am sure had Pakistani actress been as popular in India we would have hired them for A grade Movies as well..!! But even your 3rd rate actress Veena Malik made crores in India ..

had Jagjeet been having an account on PDF, I would have reported his post of what he said! lol
Like I see from so many posts here, many Pakistanis are working in India and vice versa. Bottom line is, talent does not see the religion or nationality. We should just appreciate this and should not listen to jagjeet and company. This kind of people are there on either side. Praise the art. Thank you.

general Audience in India knows about two pakistani artist , they are Atif Aslam (huge fan following), Ali Zafar (from tere bin laden) . rahat fateh Ali khan might be a big hit with certain group of people just like Jagjit singh but general audience is clueless about their music..
