Pakistani-American Entrepreneur's Game-changing Technology in Xbox 360

Nice.. now since there is a american bharti in the company all the hypocritical indians now have gone crazy over why he was not given due credit.

The CEO, the founder usually takes the credit, so be it :sick:

some thing to further burn more indians

While Nazim stands out as a serial high-tech entreprenur with PenWare (1992), Canesta (1999) and Mixamo (2009) to his credit, there are thousands of other entrepreneurs and high-tech professionals of Pakistani origin who have made significant contributions in Silicon Valley and elsewhere in North America and Europe. Hundreds of them gather each summer at OPEN Forum organized by the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) in Silicon Valley.

. .
Good thread got FUCKE*D UP by Indians...... Thanks.... And when they get banned they say "Mods ban me because he hates me" :disagree:

Bhai even the most sensible indians cannot control it, its hardcore programing, its in their genes now, hear any good thing about Pakistan and they intentionally spoil it. Tells alot about their sick and twisted mentality :D

This is not the first time, defence.pk is full of it.

They cannot digest the reputation of our good old defence.pk. They come and try to convert it into Pakistan's version of BR!

.
Sorry Riaz, but you're in no position to tout this achievement given how Pakistanis are more than willing to wash their hands off of naturalized Pakistanis convicted of terrorism in the west.

Was this really necessary?

Don't Indian-Americans wash their hand off when questioned about some weird practices,or the negative things about India?

@ontopic

Its a good achievement for Pakistani-Americans as well as Pakistanis.:tup: :pakistan:

While celebrating hope one also considers the fact ,provided the necessaries facilities,one can do the same in his own country.We SAs have a ritualistic tendency of celebrating the achievements of our diaspora,hope a time comes ,when the same can be achieved in the homeland.

.

So its something jointly done by
a Pakistani-American, an Indian-American and an Iranian-American but you have cherry picked pakistani American for your title, amazing. BTW will you appreciate if TOI have done the same with the title with Indian American in lead??

I don't think so. :wave:

U out of every one else shouldn't have opened their mouth in this matter, all u had to do was the go through one of your own threads and see the shenanigans that you pull. Or shall I say that you have lived in the pile of dung for so long that every thing smells of Sh!t to you. get a life.

^^Suicide bombing isn't the same as mugging someone. Don't try and equate senseless mass murder with ordinary crime. Besides, I didn't come up with it, visit the threads on 7/7 or Faisal Shazad and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Edit: Surprising how those who vehemently deny any link between Pakistan and naturalized terrorists are so quick to 'thank' the thread starter. Hypocrisy at its best.

Doesn't have to be mugging. I am sure there are Indians in US who have committed murders, rape, hardcore domestic violence, and other bad crimes. So since an Indian did that (here's one case: http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal...black-daughter-in-laws-murder-2_10065431.html), Indians shouldn't take take pride in the achievements of Indian-Americans. They do that a lot in fact - often coming up with fake statistics of how successful Indian Americans are.

So guess what Spitfighter, since an Indian American committed murder in the US, it would be hypocritical for Indians to try to use achievements of other Indian-Americans as show off.

Hey, we can go even further. Let's associate Gujarat massacre, Operation Bluestar, etc with ALL indians. Indians try to wash their hands off those things as well. So since they try to wash their hands off those things as well, they shouldn't try to tout achievements of ANY indian either.

You see where you're going with this? You should have thought about this before making such childish posts.

Tell me Mr riaz haq where is Nazim Kareemi?????????

If you have visited their official site and read that site with those two eyes you have instead of some other "PLACE" you might have realized that Mr Nazim name is written in the web site. Not only that a whole description is present about him in that site.

Its nowhere in its official website.

Really???

And in this same link that you have given is written this paragraph which you didn't read.

Nazim Kareemi
Mr. Kareemi co-founded Canesta in 1999 and was its CEO from inception to 2004, and Chairman of the Board until 2006. He has many years of experience in the high technology industry in engineering and management positions, and has been a successful entrepreneur, building and growing emerging technology companies with unique cultures. He has a SB in EE from MIT and an MSEE and Engineer's degrees from Stanford University.

Along with two co-founders, Mr. Kareemi assembled an outstanding team at Canesta and raised several rounds of VC funding. Canesta has developed breakthrough electronic perception technology, acquired a substantial number of patents to protect its intellectual property, and built innovative products used in automotive and security markets.

Prior to Canesta, he founded PenWare in 1992 and raised VC funding. He attracted and retained some of the best people in the industry to develop award-winning software. PenWare established itself as a leader in spreadsheets for mobile devices; its OEM customers included Sony, Motorola and Sharp. PenWare also acquired another company to successfully enter retail point of sale terminal market and became public in 1996. PenWare changed its name to Atpos and was later acquired by Symbol Technologies, Inc.

Before founding PenWare, he held engineering positions or consulted for well-respected companies such as Zilog, Xerox, and Intel.

So now do you see Mr Nazim's name or not. :azn:

@Bombenstrum

It certainly wasn't, my bad.

@SMC

I can elaborate and I think you're missing the point but Bombenstrum's right. There's plenty of animosity to go around as it is, so I'll drop it here.

.
Mate, I don't see what point I am missing. You could do this for any nationality. Remember, it doesn't have to be terrorism. And it only has to be just one person, not a whole lot. In fact, few Indians have been involved in terrorism abroad as well. So if we're to go down this route, pretty much no nationality should tout the achievements of other people of the same nationality.

.
Nazim Kareemi is a serial entrepreneur par excellance!

Nazim founded PenWare in 1992 which created the pen pad found in almost all point-of-sale terminals for signing for credit card charges.

He then co-founded and led Canesta as chairman and CEO until 2004, and as chairman of the board till 2006.

He then started another company, a 3D character animation start-up called Mixamo where he is the chairman and ceo now.

Mixamo: Production-quality 3d character animation in seconds

Gujraat Muslim killing and so on and on

We just start now you are pioneer in this field now back to the topic or back off

Pakistani-American friend Nazim Kareemi in Silicon Valley. Cyrus Bamji, an Indian-American, and Abbas Rafii, an Iranian-American
I thought I'd scroll through the comments and see if someone remarked how positive it is to see people of Pakistani and Indian origin collaborating (and producing results) abroad.

Hoping for someone to say that if perhaps there was more of this closer to home we'd be in a better shape, and jointly progressing at a faster rate.

But what started out with discussing such achievements, has ended with talk of Babri and Gujrat.

*sigh*

I truly hope we can move beyond the hate and non-stop quarreling, and follow in the footsteps of Nazim and Cyrus on a more widespread basis.
