Bhai technical violation might happen in a hilly terrain if pilot is not well versed with local areas. We should not be hair-trigger happy. Have pop-corn n enjoy the trolling!!!

Any pickup by radars?

& what might that be? Does it imply six propellers?

My guess is it was some sort of drone. something like this

Six bladed helicopters are possibility, heavy planes can be recognized much easily.

Now was it AWACS version --- SIGNIT Record Intercept will confirm -- I am sure ground Radars or Aerostats will give us feedm

There are no pictures.SAAB is impossible because the aircraft is very small.
While IANS is quoting anonymous BSF sources saying it was a civilian operated light chopper, ANI on the hand says that the chopper never crossed into Indian territory and what entered was a quadcopter.

It was also not clear whether the aircraft belonged to Pakistani army or not

government officials also said that it is being investigated whether BSF officer correctly noticed the aircraft in Indian airspace because he is not an expert in the planes

Thanks to our incompetent defence minister , we don't have anti aircraft artillery, modern MANPADs, QR SAM, SR SAM, enough surveillance equipment or interceptors too, so the UAV can happily come and go home back.

That's not how you conduct a warning flight...or even a proper reconnaissance mission. Most probably, the pilots on your aircraft lost their way. No need for you all to get excited about that.

Before you go on to say Spyder and Akash ,systems their primary job is taking care of IAF and IA installations and other important, areas.

We need a dense anti aircraft artillery / MANPADS/QR SAM along heavy surveillance all along our borders ( Green Pines won't tell what's happening few metres above the trees in dense forests of Kashmir ).

No.

Was not going to tell you. On the contrary, was going to tell you that either sides avoid engaging any helicopter/UAV along LC. The latter because it usually is too high and too near the LC to be able to engage before it re-enters its airspace and the former because at times the cross winds in higher reaches leaves only a deliberate ingress into the neighbouring as the only option to make an approach to own post in an emergency like casualty evacuation.

And, no, the RADARs are not inside a valley to be hindered by a tree.
