KARACHI: Skipper Younis Khan played another fine innings as Pakistan XI and Karachi Regionââ¬â¢s four-day match ended in a draw at the National Stadium here on Wednesday. The second innings of the match was restricted to 52-over a side. Karachi made 216 in their second innings with wicket-keeper Aminur Rehman smashing 61 off 79 balls laced with nine boundaries. Pakistan XI were restricted to 198 for 9 in their second innings with Younis hitting an enterprising 75 after facing 104 deliveries. His knock included ten powerful boundaries and two 6s.
After paceman Muhammad Sami took two early wickets, spinner duo of Danish Kaneria and Tahir Khan shared six wickets between them. Karachi made 378 in their first outing while Pakistan XI replied with 377-7 declared. app
