This just an opinion to start a healthy discussion.

Following Indian news the major issue currently effecting Indian politics is the capture of Indian pilot.

Our PM Imran Khan has showed will for deescalation of situation which is a constructive step towards peace. But returning the Indian pilot to BJP govt will further help Modi to strengthen his political agenda so in my humble opinion this act should be delayed until Indian general election and he should be returned not to BJP govt but to Sikh leader Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Currently the political advantage which Modi wanted to claim through this war mongering should be destroyed at all cost and our strategy should make sure that the true motives of BJP are crushed, so if we are going to follow Geneva rule book let's at least paly it to our advantage.

IAF has already gone to sleep knowing they don't have the capability to retaliate against Pakistan. Playing with Modi and his RSS hate hysteria can bring us advantage within India politics.

Let me tell you something about Indian forces..unlime Pakistan (who haave a history of refusing their onw soldier), India fights for every single soldier even if that means getting embarassed in tehworld. whether its Kulbushan yadav or Abhinandan. Even before Pakistan claimed to have shot down the mig..Indian govt issued statement saying our 1 pilot was missing after action. SO rest ssued..if we had two pilots missing.. . Indian public would have already crie about this..our media handling internally is too weak... we lost one pilot and he was thankfully found with Pakistani army.
