اس بارے میں وزیر اعظم پاکستان کے مشیر برائے امور خارجہ سرتاج عزیز نے روسی خبر رساں ایجنسی تاس کے نامہ نگار کے اس سوال کے جواب میں بتایا کہ روس پاک فوجی و تکنیکی تعاون کے امکانات کیا ہیں۔


سرتاج عزیز نے کہا کہ جے ایف 17 طیارے سے متعلق روس کے ساتھ کچھ مشاورت ہو چکی ہے تاہم انہوں نے مزید تفصیلات نہیں بتائیں۔ سرتاج عزیز نے کہ ان طیاروں کے لیے انجن ماضی میں سوویت یونین چین کو فراہم کرتا تھا اس لیے اب پاکستان یہ انجن چین کے توسط سے نہیں بلکہ براہ راست طور پر روس سے خریدنا چاہتا ہے۔

بہر حال سرتاج عزیز نے اس سوال کا جواب دینے سے گریز کیا کہ پچھلے عرصے میں ہوئے روس پاک مشاورات میں پاکستان کو روسی "ایس یو 35" جنگی طیارں کی فراہمی کے امکان پر غور کیا گیا یا نہیں۔ مشیر خارجہ کا کنہا تھا کہ مختلف امکانات زیر غور ہیں لیکن پاکستان کو روس کے چار "ایم آئی 35" ہیلی کاپٹروں کی فراہمی کے سمجھوتے پر دستخط کئے جانے کے بعد کوئی ٹھوس پروجیکٹ ابھی تک سامنے نہیں آیا ہے۔

واضخ رہے کہ روس میں آر دی 93 انجن شمال مغربی شہر سینٹ پیٹرزبرگ میں بنائے جاتے ہیں۔

پچھلے سال سفارتی ذرائع نے بتایا تھا کہ پاکستان ایسے انجن جے ایف 17 طیاروں کے خریدنے کے امکان کا مشاہدہ کیا تھا۔ پاکستانی ذرائع کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان روس سے ایسے ڈیڑھ سو انجن خرید سکتا ہے۔

اس بارے میں وزیر اعظم پاکستان کے مشیر برائے امور خارجہ سرتاج عزیز نے روسی خبر رساں ایجنسی تاس کے نامہ نگار کے اس سوال کے جواب میں بتایا کہ روس پاک فوجی و تکنیکی تعاون کے امکانات کیا ہیں۔


سرتاج عزیز نے کہا کہ جے ایف 17 طیارے سے متعلق روس کے ساتھ کچھ مشاورت ہو چکی ہے تاہم انہوں نے مزید تفصیلات نہیں بتائیں۔ سرتاج عزیز نے کہ ان طیاروں کے لیے انجن ماضی میں سوویت یونین چین کو فراہم کرتا تھا اس لیے اب پاکستان یہ انجن چین کے توسط سے نہیں بلکہ براہ راست طور پر روس سے خریدنا چاہتا ہے۔

Designing and development of fighter jet engine is an up-hill task for the nation like Pakistan because even advance countries like few European,and other developed countries lack in engine designing capability.In fighter jet engine hundred of factors to watch out for before one can move a step forward (e.g thrust to weight ratio,speed,Efficiency overall,Efficiency of rotatory & sub-attached,fuel combustion,exhaust velocity and run-out factor etc etc...)
Then there is a complex algorithm and it must satisfy the general & specific laws of physics,mechanics and mechatronics. Long story short we have skilled professional both technically & experienced wise but engine designing is all together a different level & in Pakistan we still need at-least few years in that regard.

That's due to inconsistency in relationship between the both countries .. moreover the threat of anti pakistan lobby is out there which try its best to eliminate any deal of sophisticated hardware to Pakistan

Who's going to pay for it? You?

China has spent tens of billions of dollars, and decades trying to develop a domestic engine of their own, and they barely managed to get their current engines working somewhat properly.

Pakistan? Even if Pakistan has the technical know-how, which it doesn't, it would probably go bankrupt in its pursuit to develop a domestic engine.

The only way for Pakistan to develop an engine at home is to look for an international partner. The US is out of the question, Turkey? Maybe. China? read what I said above.

Pakistan is not even close to developing an indigenous engine of a car, let alone a Jet Fighter. Even an Industrial giant like China is struggling in this area.

to manufacture jet engines you need industrialization , components ,materials & technological R&D development facilities on a massive scale , there is a reason why only
few countres have this tech

It is a very wise decision to buy 150 RD-93 engines. The next step is to acquire overhauling capability under licence along with a lot of spare parts. That way planes will keep flying. The next step is to manufacture the engines under licence. Then all the individual parts of the engine should be manufactured under licence. Once this process is streamlined then designing an engine can be seriously considered.
I believe people at Kamra are doing a good job. They know all this and a lot more. Lets hope the future is bright.
