At least 10 Pakistani soldiers and 9 Indians have died in ceasefire violations on the LoC this year, Hindustan Times reported.

Pakistan has been using US TOW-2 anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and 120 mm heavy mortars to target Indian bunkers in the Rajouri and Poonch sectors, the report said.

Pakistan purchased Raytheon’s TOW 2A anti-armour missiles from the US for self-defence needs and in support of US operations against terrorists in Afghanistan.

“On the face of it, Pakistan is offering talks at the level of Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) ostensibly to enforce ceasefire along the LoC, even as it is terrorists, like it did in the February 6 attack in Srinagar, to escalate violence to destabilise the Valley," a senior army officer said.

Meanwhile, south of the Pir Panjal, it is using ATGMs and heavy mortar to target the civilian population and at the same time push terrorists across the borders under the cover of fire, the officer said.

Four soldiers including a Captain were killed on Sunday when Pakistan Army used missiles and heavy caliber mortar shells to hit Indian posts.

Pakistan is also using heavy caliber long-range weapons including 120 mm mortars, which has a range of seven kilometers, and 82 mm mortars, having the range of 4.5 kilometers, to inflict maximum damage deep into the civilian areas.

Has Indian media gone mad. You know how expensive is TOW-2 missile? we are not going to waste so much money on killing Indians. Bhai 120 mm mortars are taking out India nothing else. Boy have got just good aim due to vast practice.

Then provide evidence that Pak has used ATGMs. How do you know it is American? Once you start lying, you become so good at it that an literate and illiterate Indian population can't see through it :coffee: Nevertheless shows that Indians don't have the balls to do anything if true. What happened to your Sir Ji Kal strikes??

They know it is AGTM because they lost a tank and all those 4 soldiers died in a Tank blast lol.

Indians haven't been able to develop Anti-tank missile yet
What kind of Shupa-pawa they are ? :sarcastic:

Was it a T90?
God knows what was it but AGTM are designed to explode a confined space which is tightly packed not an open post they are not effective on posts that much. If India says it is AGTM then it was tank India lost best way to verify is look at the rank and brigade of the young captain that died. It is on India media.

We have captured one unexploded Tow-2a
At least 10 Pakistani soldiers and 9 Indian ones have died in ceasefire violations on the Line of Control (LoC) thus far this year, according to army officers familiar with the matter

Although the Indian Army has decided to respond to latest aggravation at appropriate time, Army HQ’s assessment is that due to a dry winter Pakistan is pushing infiltrators across the LoC, taking advantage of the lack of snow on mountain ridges and pastures below, the army officer mentioned in the first instance said.

One unexploded Pakistani missile has been brought down to Army HQ in Delhi
